Love the imaginative play with @CCakeSurprise #ad

Toys sure have changed from when I was a kid.  I mean, I know we had some pretty cool things, but man oh man, did they come out with new toys like every single day back then?  I can't lie, some are pretty cool that makes me want to buy them for us to have (like we really NEED another toy) but then some make me wonder who thinks they need them and why?! We were recently at a store and spotted a doll that changed between a cupcake to a doll.  Of course, we had never seen them before and Savannah just HAD TO HAVE IT.

Once we got home, she was in love with this little cupcake surprise.  Little did we know that they had more than one size, more than one doll and .... get this... they are scented!   Oh, they went all out on these dolls.  Their dresses are the cupcake liners, their hats are the cupcake icing. Too stinking cute!!!!
As you can tell, they even come with their own brush.  My sister-in-law and niece came to visit.  Of course Savannah had to show them the cupcake doll... and they had also never seen them.  I was excited that we weren't late to the party, but they were still sort of new down here.  (We found ours in Atlanta and had not seen any down here.)
I do think that we like the smaller dolls.  Their dress is made into the plastic with them, where as the bigger dolls have a dress that is made of cloth.  Other than that, I don't really see any difference besides size.  I love that Savannah has played with them both ways.
She started off having them as cupcakes for our picnic.  It was the week of her birthday, so we were in cupcake/ cake/ singing happy birthday mode....   Then, she decided that she didn't want cupcakes anymore, she wanted her friends to be at the party.
I love that she is so imaginative and loves to have fun.  From tea parties with her dolls/ cupcakes to driving around in her car (aka cardboard box) she is a silly girl that loves fun!  I love that the dolls are able to be used for more than just dolls... and allows her imagination to thrive.   Another thing I love?  I just spotted them at our local Walmart!!!!!!

Have you seen the cupcake surprise dolls?
