Thomas and Friends Big Loader #Review #Ad

As long as I have been a mom, I have known of Thomas and Friends. When I was pregnant with Broxton,  I had Marc read books to him.  When Broxton was born, I kept reading the books and he ended up loving the TV show.  We watched all of them.  We had so many of the DVD's to enjoy, not to mention toys... lots and lots of toys!!!!  We were lucky to even get to go ride Thomas when it came near us (on more than one occasion!)  Saying all of that, when we were given the chance to review a new Thomas and Friends toy, we were all about it, especially considering we now have Savannah to get aboard! (Notice my sad excuse at a mom joke!)

Thomas the Tank Engine™ was originally created over 70 years ago and as you may know, the story quickly grew to become the award-winning global brand enjoyed by families around the world!

Watch and help Thomas, Percy and Terence pick up and deliver their loads on time throughout Sodor.  The Thomas and Friends Big Loader set features multiple loading areas and a fully automated engine that transforms between Thomas to Percy and Terence, and back again. Each set Includes 1 mechanical vehicle chassis, 3 vehicle bodies, over 8 feet of track and destinations, and loads of cargo to haul around! Big Loader retails for $39.99 and is made for ages 3+, so even the youngest Thomas the Tank enthusiast can play!

Broxton helped in setting it up but he really was not a fan of it.  The tracks did not stay together as well as others he has, so I think that might have been one of the issues.  Also, he did not like that there was 1 "motor" that had to rotate between the 3 train cars.  Savannah on the other hand took it upon herself to claim it as her toy!  She liked playing with it and it has brought many hours of enjoyment.
Would I recommend this?  Yes, for the younger ones, maybe 3-6.  One suggestion would be to add a carry case to go with this.  As soon as we ripped the box open, it was done and there was no way to pack the pieces back up.  If it were to come in a carry case, it would make for easier transport/ packing up when finished and as a mom, that is always an added bonus!
