Synchronicity Theatre - The Little Prince

We were recently invited to visit Synchronicity Theatre to see their production of THE LITTLE PRINCE.  If you follow my blog, you know that Savannah LOVES this movie.  We have the movie, we have the book...we even have a couple of the figurines from the story. That being said, I knew it was a no brainer that I would be taking her to the show, if at all possible!  Synchronicity Theatre was new to us, as we had never visited it and did not know anything about it... But, it was easy to get to!  We grabbed a spot in the parking deck ( take your ticket, so you can get parking validated) and then we were on our way!!!!

She was so excited about the play!

Here is the fun part... 
We got there and parked, walked in the building and then we were a bit unsure where to go... This gentleman was getting on the elevator and asked where we were headed, told him we were trying to get to the Theatre and he said to hop on... Once on, I asked if he was in the play and he smiled at Savannah and said yes...  That of course made her moment, so I asked what character he was... His response was we would have to watch and see!!! We were then off the elevator and waiting for the doors to open.  Savannah had in her mind that he just HAD TO BE THE AVIATOR... if not, he was the lamplighter... but she was sure she knew!  She was still pretty excited that she met one of the actors.

Once the doors opened, you are welcomed to a cozy little theatre to enjoy.  It is general admission, so we grabbed a seat towards the front and on the end.  They had a small concession stand with a couple beverages and snacks.  The play had an intermission and then it was over and the actors were out front to meet the audience.  I loved that the play consisted of 5 actors and they all did such a great job.  Savannah commented it was "different than the movie" but she still loved it.  If you have the opportunity to go see a show here, make sure to check it out!!!!  SUPPORT THE ARTS!!!!

The cast after the show.  They even commented on her outfit, as she had to pick out her own for the play.  In the movie, the little prince wears a green outfit with a yellow scarf, so she had to wear a yellow dress with a green jacket!  (It's the little things!)

Fridays at 7pm, Saturdays at 1 and 4:30pm, Sundays at 2 and 5:30pm; plus 2 pm 12/19, 12/20, 12/21 and 11 am 12/24
