Aloha Friday

Image
It's Aloha Friday! I found this on another blog, Two of a kind, working on a full house . So, since its FRIDAY, it is time to relax! Answer this simple question, then go and post one of your own.... My question is: What is something you wished you had known or been told before you became a mom? My answer is: WOW! Way to many things to mention, but I can tell you one.. BUY CLOTHES of ALL SIZES! I had a big baby and we had alot of newborn clothes, to big to fit in those! Luckily, other friends gave me 3-6 mo, and 6-9 mo clothes, so we were good to go! I am going to blog about this subject in the next few days! Would love to hear some of your thoughts! Have a great day!!!!!!!!!!!!

Target

So, I went to Target today... LOL , that is actually how I could start a blog about once a week. Anyways, I went last week to buy some shorts for Broxton . Yes, I know winter is coming soon, but it doesn't really get THAT COLD in Georgia, especially any time soon! So, I bought him some (6mo. and 9 mo.) No, I didn't try them on, I just figured they would work! :) I got home and tried them on, the 6 mo. were a NO GO! But, the 9 mo. worked great! That was the original purpose of the Target trip today... While I was returning them, I wanted to look for a little bag to actually use for Broxton . That is a story for another day though! Well, I made the return... Easy enough, they put it on the card. Now, lets go look for the bag... Okay, found a couple bags I needed.. But, I wanted a duffel bag for when we go on trips and I have not found what I want yet.. Nope, still the same CLUSTER that has been back there for a while now... Like, not even organizing the are...

Small Talk Six on Saturdays

As I was checking out all of the blogs I follow, I came across this pretty fun meme from suzy q homemaker. With so much going on in my life, this was a great one to do! Today’s topic is “6 things you’ll miss (or won’t miss) about summer.” You can answer this with a list of 6 words, 6 phrases, 6 sentences, 6 paragraphs, 6 photos, 6 videos, etc The 6 things I will miss about summer: 1. My husband - With him being in Afghanistan, it really stinks. Although he was training alot, he was still in the states... Then, we got to spend a little time with him before he headed over there... So, yes! I miss him the most. 2. The first couple months of my sweet bundle of joys life - I have to say, being a mommy is wonderful! I sit and wonder how in the world did I get so lucky to have such a great husband and such a sweet baby? Granted, I love watching him grow up and it is amazing how much he changes from day to day, but in the beginning when he just played and slept... I miss h...

Still learning

Today was a good day! Let me tell you how it started.. Broxton woke up around 6:45-7:00 We got up and played, ate breakfast and played some more! Then it was time for a quick nap before we went to get the 6 month picture taken. Well, I was rocking Broxton to get him to take his nap (he FIGHTS SLEEP like nothing I have ever seen!) In the middle of rocking him, he let out the LOUDEST BURP... At that point, all the food he has EVER eaten in his WHOLE LIFE came out.. ALL OVER ME! I mean, EVERYWHERE! All in my hair, all over my shirt, all DOWN my shirt.. NASTY! Okay, forget this! Time to get another shower! I put him in the living room and went to get a quick shower, time was starting to run out of naptime before the pictures! I got a quick shower and then he took a nap... A whole 30 minutes! Yeah, so we went to SEARS, I have to say, Amber takes his pictures and she is GREAT! I spent more money than I wanted (as always!) We came home for lunch... Then we went to go to Wal...

Random thoughts.. and a quick update

So, lets see where to start.. I FINALLY bought Broxton a highchair! Of course, my luck would have it.. I bought it on Friday and then see in the Sunday Sales Paper that it is now on sale for $20.00 cheaper! I'm not going to lie... I sure enough went to customer service and asked for the difference! I told her that I had my receipt, but if that wouldn't work, I would go home and bring the highchair back! :) She said to give her the receipt and she would give me the difference! Needless to say, that $20.00 went right back to Target.... ON DIAPERS! I was pretty happy that I noticed the sale and made the difference count! Anyways.. Over the weekend... We moved Ashton into his first apartment.. Where does the time go? Seems like just yesterday he was just a little one... and now.. he is THE TYPICAL kid brother... I know I said "whatever" alot, but I think he just may beat me on it once it is all said and done! Sometimes I wonder about that kid, but no matter w...

What does Google know about me?

As I said, I am learning all this blog talk! I was on another blog, http://confessionsofamoodymommy.com/ and I found this "meme." It was so fun! I decided to post one with my name! Check it out.. Go to google and type it in... See what you get! "Your name needs": just make sure you put your name and then the phrase ... IN parenthesis... Here's mine! Noelle needs: me to come over and clean out her spa because she is lazy and will never do it by herself. Noelle looks: like a little girl at the mall. Noelle wants: county prisoners to replace union janitorial workers. Noelle does: not have any Contacts at this time. Noelle hates: me! Even more now! Noelle asks: for another favor in order to continue helping with her homework. Noelle likes: sitting up by herself and playing with Mommy and Daddy, but Grandma is more comfortable Noelle Eats: Cereal for the First Time...and Loves It. Noelle wears: the ring only to throw men off. Noelle was arrested for: alleged presc...

My love...

I know I say it alot ... but I love my husband! Marc is THE LOVE of my life! We got married in 2007 and we welcomed a baby boy in 2009! He is in the National Guard. He is currently deployed. He is my hero! Actually, while I was pregnant, they left for training. So, the last month of my pregnancy I was just, well... Pregnant! I really had an easy pregnancy! I never had morning sickness or anything. (Yes, I know that means that my next pregnancy is going to be HORRIBLE!) Anyways, I was pregnant and Marc was training... He was in Louisiana at that point. They decided to induce me... The "little" one kept growing and growing! At one point, they were saying he was going to be around 12 pounds! GOODNESS!!! Well, we set the date to induce and then started the process to get Marc home! Luckily, the women in charge (I guess that is how I should put it?) were a great help! They gave me the names of who to contact... they even helped me get in touch with the right people! Next thin...
