Jumpin-Beans

My little one worked so hard on this at dinner.  She did a great job, in my opinion, and she is only 3!  Maybe she will end up with artistic talent that seems to have skipped her mama!  Funny thing, way before Broxton and Savannah, LOCOS was my hang out spot in Atlanta, now as a mama, we have turned this location into one of our regular spots!   

Okay, now look at this DVD cover and tell me that they aren't the cutest!!!   We love all of those lovable pups, although I think Chase is a favorite with most kids.  Our house loves Skye and Marshall the most!   Always has..  even back when Broxton was a fan of the show!   Savannah has a few of the toys that go with the show and she loves taking them to show and tell at school  That ends up meaning that we have to binge watch Paw Patrol for a while.  I love that we have the DVD's so we can take them in the car on trips... saves on the data usage!    FTC Compliant Review Policy:    The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. In keeping with the wishes or weeds post from last week, I thought I would share this picture I was able to take.  I call it "hanging on" because if you look, there is still a little guy hanging on!!!!! Do you see it?

My dad HATES when he comes by and sees that dandelions are growing in the yard, but that is only because he sees weeds.  I don't mind them and honestly I smile when dandelions start sprouting up.  Why?  Simply put, because I look at things differently.  I don't see "WEEDS."  I see beautiful yellow flowers that makes Savannah smile when she picks them and brings them to me.  I see wishes waiting to be made and the joy and excitement with BOTH of my kiddos when we go outside and pick them, blowing the flowers and making wishes.  We always leave some, as I have told them they need to leave them for the bees, but it is still a fun pastime for us to enjoy and if you follow me on INSTAGRAM at all, you know I am all about #makingmemories So -  What do you see? Weeds? Wishes?  

I get so frustrated that each year I have a party for Broxton/Savannah and send invitations out.  I would love to have everyone attend, but I know sometimes it just isn't their thing... What annoys me is that most parents don't even bother to RSVP.  I know it should not bother me, but it does.  I normally put my number on the invitation and put to call or text. I know I would much rather text people, so that option is there.   Most parents don't do parties anymore either and that makes me sad.  Honestly, I was getting worried maybe they just did not want to come to my kiddo's party, but then the few we have been invited to, we make it a point to go.  Normally when we get there, we are just one or two of the "friends" that come and there are many treat bags left over where you can tell more kids were invited.  I would just feel HORRIBLE if a child had a party and no friends came, that is why I make it a point to go if at all possible when we are i...

It has been a while since I posted a Word-less/Word-full Wednesday post.  I know I share many pics on my Instagram, but thought I would share some over here.  Sorry if they are some you have seen before, I will try and get better at posting them more regularly here!  If you don't follow me on INSTAGRAM , head on over and give it a "follow"  I will wait! Since moving back down south, we have had to adjust to the limit of things to do around here.  In Atlanta there was always plenty of stores to go to, plenty of festivals, lots of friends and always an invite with something to do with the blog.  Now don't get me wrong, I love being close to my family.  It is nice that the kids get to see my parents so often and I would not trade that for anything... but it is still totally DIFFERENT than Atlanta.  This is a picture of when the local art museum had a LEGO exhibit.  I thought this was one of the coolest pieces of work the artist ha...

Paw Patrol is on a roll!  Paw Patrol Ultimate rescue is one of the latest DVD's that Nickelodeon has released.  I am not sure if I have told you or not, but our cable/internet goes out all of the time.  When the hurricane happened (LAST OCTOBER) we were out for months...
