Aloha Friday # 23

It is Friday!
Time for Aloha Friday...
You know the deal...
Stop by and visit Kailani when you leave here..

My question for you...

What is a good movie you have watched lately?

I recently watched The Hurt Locker, Precious and The Time Travellers Wife...
Nothing to great to speak of on any of them.
Would love any suggestions!

  14. So far the last movie I've seen in the theaters is Avatar and loved it. We also buy DVDs/blurays and the one that really struck me is 'The Hurt Locker', which i thought is a very good movie! I've also seen 2012 but i think story wise it's weak, but great in special effects. Another one that I've seen just recently that left an impression on me that i'm still thinking about it, is 'The Reader'. It is just too dramatic and wordy but great story and great acting.

  22. Last movie I saw was Percy Jackson and the Lightening Thief. It is my kids favorite book series (my oldest has read them all and I'm reading a chapter a night to my youngest 2) so to say they were looking forward to it was an understatement of epic proportions..they even had the calendar marked like it was Christmas! And while they all liked the movie (and so did I) all three said after the movie that they liked the books better ...GO BOOKS! But I do recommend the movie (I just recommend the books more!)

  23. I'm with Xmas Dolly... Avatar in 3-D was completely AMAZING! I really think it should have won the Oscar.
