Bamboosa - Review

I am not sure if you have heard of Bamboosa, but let me tell you what...

Besides being a company with a great product, they also give back to their community!
I contacted Bamboosa to see if I could possibly host a review for them, I was lucky enough to be able to do so, and in hosting this review, I get to tell you how YOU can help to give back as well!
Bamboosa sells clothing for men, women and babies... All bamboo and that means SUPER SOFT!
Bamboosa is based out of Andrews, South Carolina.
From their site:
"All of Bamboosa's products are made in the USA. We buy some yarn in China and also import the fiber from China and have yarn made in South Carolina. All fabric production as well as dyeing and sewing are also done in South Carolina. Bamboosa is committed to U.S. jobs, increased sustainability, social responsibility, environmental awareness and good corporate citizenship. We encourage our employees, our vendors, and our customers to consider their choices and to make decisions consistent with making a positive impact."

Talk about a great company to support!
Now, on to what I am super excited to tell you about...

Mindy (one of the owners/partners) and I thought that reviewing the bamboo socks would be a great choice for me.
Why, you ask?
Well, Bamboosa has started a SOCKS FOR SOLDIERS PROGRAM.
Basically, for every $25 you spend, Bamboosa will donate a pair of Green Bamboo Socks to a solider currently deployed to Afghanistan. (ummm, hello?! Marc just got back, so you know I am all about that!!!! Anything to help show support for our military!)

On to the sock review:
Let me tell you just how comfortable the socks were...
I have never worn any bamboo clothes before, but OH MY GOODNESS... They are the softest things! I can not figure out how to explain it... It was like a silky cotton feeling on my feet, they were light and airy and I LOVED THEM!!!! It was kinda like you did not even have socks on, but you really did...
Mindy sent me all of their different styles.
They offer ankle socks, 1/4 socks and crew socks, all socks are offered either in a natural or a black color. I especially liked the ankle socks in black... and I have to tell you, if you have any golfer in your life, I really think that they would like them. (No, I did not give my pair to my brother, lol, he can buy his own! ) I did keep the crew socks for Marc to try... that is why this post took so long to write.

This is what happened with Marc, gotta love him!
I saved the crew socks for him to try (and if I wore socks like that, I would have kept them, but I like the short ones the best, so he was in luck!)
I told him about the SOCKS to SOLDIERS program and how I was reviewing the comfy socks for this blog... He said he wanted to give them the "true test" of the military.
So, he wore them while going through demobilization...
He immediately said that they were really soft and comfortable on his feet, but he wanted to know how they would hold up. The boots that they wear would surely wear them out (at least that is what I thought!) Nope, these socks passed with FLYING COLORS for Marc!
He ended up wearing them for like 4 days... Yep, I am sure that you are thinking that is gross, but while you are deployed, you end up wearing the same clothes (including socks) for several days at time, I mean, you can not stop combat to change, right?!
The socks held up!!! They also did not smell! That was a shocker to me! Marc said that they didn't, so I had to see for myself... No, they didn't!!!!

Once Marc and I are working again, I will have to buy more of these socks...
Please go and have a look at what all they offer, I KNOW you will find something that you just have to have! Remember, every $25 sends a pair to a soldier!
