Random ... Tuesday Thoughts

Well, today is Tuesday...
and I felt a bit random!

With that in mind...

Lowe's :
I want to know why it is such a big secret that Lowe's offers military discount...
oops, I guess it isn't such a big secret now...
I mean, really... It is like a whispering ordeal for the "military discount."
A friend said she went and the cashier saw her ID... He whispered and asked if she was military... She said yes and then he quietly told her that they offered a discount, but that it was not an advertised thing... Hmm... Guess that is why I ALWAYS ask, everywhere...
I think it is super cool and I love that! Shhhhhhh... do not go telling everyone!

Wal-Mart :
I think it is awesome that they have such LONGGGGGGGGGG parking lots...
Want to know why?
From what I have ALWAYS heard, Sam Walton has them that way, and the lights are ALWAYS on... Just so that the truckers will have a place to pull over and rest if they are tired...
How cool is that?!

Target :
I went in a few weeks ago (with the baby) and a customer came and asked me to help him find something... Told him I was not sure where to look, that I was just a customer myself... He then informed me that "you should not wear a red shirt when shopping at Target." I wanted to point out that last I checked, Target did not allow their employees to push their children in a shopping cart while they worked, as far as I knew...

IHOP :
Totally rocks! Although I wish they would bring back that banana stuffed french toast...
But they offer military discount and the food is so yummy!

Sonic :
Love the happy hour special...
and I am in the mood for a strawberry limeaid...
so.........

Guess where I am off to...
(Just realized today was all about places I spend money... might be a problem there!

    There are so many truckers parked outside our Walmart all the time. Now I get it!

    So glad ya get extra discounts here and there!

    I am NUTS about Sonic's happy hour!! Love their cups - my husband thinks I'm crazy but in that insulated cup, the drink will last like ALL DAY!

    What a cool thing about Walmart, I had no idea.
    I can't believe that idiot at Target, you should have told him that he shouldn't have left his brain at home when he went out shopping! DUH!!
    It's so great to hear that all of those places give military discounts... thanks for passing it along.
