Aloha Friday # 65
Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too.
Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!
My question:
Do you have any traditions for the holidays?
My answer:
We are starting them this year!!!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS from my home to yours!
(If you do not celebrate Christmas, Happy Holidays!)
We had many when our boys were young. But this is the 1st Christmas as empty nesters, we will have to start new ones.
ReplyDeleteHi Noelle,
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by today!
As for our traditions?
We usually open one present Christmas Eve Night.
One of our son's plays the part of Santa.
Christmas Day is the one day I cook & cook.
We usually have plenty of food left over.
Merry Christmas!
Yes - watching Christmas movies, doing Christmas cookies, going to see lights, going to ICE in Orlando, church on Christmas eve. :)
ReplyDeleteWe have a few, like watching "It's a Wonderful Life" and watching football. Plus we always eat cookies and coffee for breakfast while opening gifts. HaHa
ReplyDeleteWe do the PJ's for all 4 of us on Christmas eve...I even look forward to getting new jammies!
ReplyDeleteBasically, it's just attending the Christmas Eve Midnight Mass and exchanging gifts.
ReplyDeleteMerry Chrismas, sweetie!
We have many - baking cookies, eating out on Christmas Eve followed by driving around looking at Christmas lights, and having a huge family brunch on Christmas Day. This year we added building a gingerbread house.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a Happy New Year!
