Aloha Friday - # 70


Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too.

Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.


My question to you:
Do you watch American Idol? Have you in the past?

My answer:
I have watched off and on for years...
I did watch each week when a friends friend was on there... (Michael Johns)
I did however start watching this year...
Did you see the night with Chris Medina?

    We do watch American Idol however we're not heartbroken if we miss an episode until it gets down to the final...what is it...12?
    Then we watch faithfully and have favorites.

    I don't watch AI. Just doesn't interest me.

    I sooo wish we lived in Atlanta or anywhere near there. What an awesome giveaway. I used to drive around the advance clowns when they came to Ut back in the day. My uncle used to do pr for them.

    I didn't like it when it first started, then we watched for a couple of years, but now we haven't for years. It got to be too much. On too many nights, dragging it out, making fun of others.......

    Great minds girl, I asked almost the same question. I LOVE idol and I love chris and his story. It made me cry! I think sometimes their "sob" stories can be a little much, but I am glad they shared his. In some cases it should be shared!

    I used to watch AI to keep up with what my students were always talking about. When I stopped watching I still watched for a while. Last year I stopped. When they let a girl with a large chest through that was tone deaf I lost complete interest.
