Glee The Concert On DVD

I admit it...
I am a GLEE Fan!
I love it.
I did not watch the first season... but then I had to buy it to get ready for season two.
(My mom actually gave it to me as a gift and I was so thankful!)
When season two started, Marc and I made it part of our weekly routine to watch it...
So much that last summer when the boys came, the oldest started watching Season One...
And then when he found out that I would be reviewing Glee Season Two, he started asking ALL the time when it would be here so he could watch them...
When the boys came for Christmas this year...
The oldest QUICKLY reminded me that he needed to watch season two.
We pulled it out and started watching... I loved that he was so excited (even texting before they came to make sure we were still on to watch all of them!)
The other two could have cared less... then, the 13 year old started watching and slowly got sucked into (shhhhh don't tell anyone) watching them!!!  He was making fun of his older brother at first for being a Glee Fan, but then saw why... It did not hurt that once he started enjoying the show that he learned that his dad also watches!!!!

That leads us to now...
While they were here, we received GLEE The Concert on DVD for review.
Now, none of us really knew what to expect... so we put it in to see...
It was basically a recording of a Glee Club Concert.
Each of the characters were still in their Glee Characters...
Showing all of them performing different musical numbers...

I loved that it had fans included... Showing fans before the concert.. as well as fans during the concert.
I was a bit confused that they had "added" features of Sue Sylvester introducing them and all at the end as extra features... I personally would have enjoyed it more had it just had the fan stuff at the beginning...
Then, the concert filmed in its entirety... (That means showing Sue introducing them and all that good stuff)
Then, the added features of the behind the scenes and more fan footage...
I will admit that the boys (as well as myself) did wish there would have been more of Sue...
and we did not see Will, Emma or Coach Bieste at all...
Those were key characters we thought we would see...

Bottom line...
If you have a Glee Fan...
Go out and get this ASAP.
We loved it and even the ten year old was caught watching this one with us!!!!
