Starting off on a Clean Note... @Purex #giveaway

Okay, so every day in our house it is just the three of us... Marc, Broxton and Myself.

Throughout the year, we get the boys and our crazy house of three turns into a chaotic house of six.
Talk about a jump! Well, we are all about saving money, but not at the risk of quality.

Know what I mean?

We have tried several detergents and some I have liked, others not so much.

Some were great, but just not economical.
A bit ago, I grabbed a bottle of Purex.
It was VERY affordable, so I wanted to check it out.

I loved the price... and the end results!
The clothes came out clean and smelling fresh.

We don't always use a liquid fabric softener, but we do from time to time...
When I saw that Purex fabric softener was just as affordable as their detergent, I was a happy mommy.

We go through tons of laundry, just the three of us.
Marc wears about a million articles of clothing during the winter. When he was taught to dress in layers, he PASSED with flying colors. Remember, he works outside... and today our high is in the 20's (I think) so he has a great excuse for his clothing...
Broxton.. Well, he has to change as soon as anything gets on his clothing. I love that he doesn't want to go around messy, but sometimes it is just water... (So, we change, let it dry and when the other clothes get wet, we put the dry ones back on.)
Now... When the boys are here...

I feel like I work at a laundry mat! Every single time you tell them to bring their dirty clothes to the laundry room, they have enough clothes to dress their whole school class... yet over half of the "dirty clothes" have not even been on their body... unless they are doing fashion shoots during the night while we are sleeping and I just don't know about it..

Moving along...

My new found joy is anything Purex.

I received a bottle of the TRIPLE ACTION PUREX DETERGENT in the mail.
(I am a Purex Insider, so very happy about that!) I used it, loved it... and headed to the store to buy more. Remember, 6 people = LOADS of laundry!

I was in love with the clean smell... there was hint of fragrance, but it was nothing to overpowering !
I am excited that not only have they made a Triple Action (Bright / White/ Clean) detergent...

but, they also have it in a Free and Clear Formula.
If you remember, Broxton has eczema. We go to the Free and Clear detergents when he has flare ups...
As to not have anything else to aggravate it. We will be buying this now, as the cold weather always brings it out.
Side note... New moms... We used to buy pricier free and clear detergents when we first had Broxton... No need to spend all that money, as this works just as good, if not better... for way less than what they cost!
