Movie Night with Alvin and the Chipmunks : Chipwrecked
Broxton has really been wanting to see Chipwrecked, so I was happy when we received a copy for review.
Of course that meant that we had to watch it the day it came in... and once we got the boys? (They were here for Spring Break) Yep... we had to watch again! We started watching, but then had to stop it... No one was too happy about that, but we had to...
So, when we loaded up to take them back home... you guessed it... We put it on so that they could watch it and finish it that time.
Remember, the boys are 11, 14 and 16... They all loved it... Well, the 16 year old watched when he wasn't texting and on facebook... but all in all, they all enjoyed it. I thought that it seemed to have more music in the last one, but that could be me, not sure about that...
In Chipwrecked, Dave takes the Chipmunks and Chipettes on a cruise for a nice and relaxing vacation....
You can only imagine how relaxing a vacation would be with one adult and 6 "kids" not to mention one of them being "ALVIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
They were not on the cruise for very long before Alvin is up to trouble.. and as usual, Simon is there to try and be the voice of reason. Next thing you know, they are "chipwrecked" (no, not telling you how that happens) and then it goes a bit "castaway" for a minute... If you watch it, you will know what I am talking about.
All in all, it is a cute movie and I can not wait to see what happens next for these crazy kids!
I can not pick which is the best out of the three movies, but the boys seem to agree that they liked Chipwrecked the most so far!!!!
SYNOPSIS:
The Chipmunks, Chipettes and their caretaker Dave Sevelle (Jason Lee; “My Name is Earl”) embark on a trip of a lifetime aboard the Carnival Dream cruise ship. Seeking fun and excitement, the Chipmunks turn the luxury cruise liner into their own personal playground. But the ultimate vacation quickly becomes a disaster when the Chipmunks, Dave and Carnival cruise pelican mascot, who turns out to be the chipmunks’ old manager, Ian Hawke (David Cross; Megamind), accidentally fall overboard and find themselves ‘Chipwrecked’ on a remote island. Stuck in an unfamiliar territory, the six furry castaways are separated from Dave and must figure out a way to survive on their own for the first time in their lives.
