Honor a Hero With Help from #dollargeneral and #proctor&gamble #giveaway
Being a military spouse, I love to see companies that honor the sacrifices that our men and women of the Armed Services deal with...
That was why when I saw the chance to share a bit of great news from Dollar General and Proctor & Gamble, I was all over it...
Throughout the month of June, in recognition of the men and women of the U.S. military and their families, Dollar General is teaming up with Procter & Gamble to honor those true Every Day Heroes who have made sacrifices for their families, their communities and their country.
Dollar General truly values these heroes and their experiences and offers many career opportunities for returning veterans. Dollar General is the winner of the 2011 Military Officers Association of America Distinguished Service Award and was recognized in GI Jobs magazine’s list of Most Military Friendly Employers.
Now, you can honor the military heroes in your life and your community: Dollar General is offering the opportunity to upload a video about your military hero to www.dollargeneral.com/ everydayheroes.
Not only that, but to help spread the word, Dollar General and Proctor and Gamble are giving one lucky reader the chance to win a great prize pack.

I do and I am proud to say that my husband is in the Georgia Army National Guard.
One winner will win the following:
A Swiffer 360° Duster, a Pringles red computer speaker, Old Spice Champion Deodorant, Tide sample packs and a Dollar General reusable shopping bag.
(The speaker is pretty cool, as it was made to fit in a Pringles can!)

I have a couple students that have served. One had to stop going to school for a year because he was in Afghanistan. That was pretty hard because he came back and was in a different class.
ReplyDeleteI have known friends that have been in the military, not sure if they still are. I pray for them anyway though, just in case.
