#26Acts
The Internet has been all about 26 Acts of Kindness.
I know that I am very appreciative of all I have and I try to "pay it forward" when I can, but this Connecticut shooting has hit me... Hit me so hard. I guess as a mom it just hurts more than it would have otherwise...
I have cried and prayed... and then cried and prayed more...
So, when I saw 26 Acts of Kindness in memory of those at Sandy Hook Elementary, I knew I wanted to participate.
So far:
1- Helped a guy change his windshield wipers in the pouring down rain.
2 - Walmart gift card to a stranger
3- Walmart Gift card to a stranger
4- Purchased the groceries of a stranger. (This was done to us one year and I tell you, the feeling of being able to do that... wow... It was AWESOME!)
5 - Bought the meal for the car behind us in the drive thru
6- Left a big tip for our delivery driver
Yeah, I Know I have only done 5, but we plan on doing more....
What makes it easier is that JDaniel4's Mom posted a list of ways you and your child can do Acts of Kindness.
I love that you can do things that cost money... or just do things that only cost your time...
Remember to Pay It Forward, it really does feel good!
