Most movie nights around here are animated, or at least geared towards children...
I was excited that my mom was here and we had the chance to watch The Heat, starring Melissa McCarthy and Sandra Bullock.  Now, I don't watch the TV show with McCarthy in it, but my parents do and they just love her... But, I am a fan of Sandra Bullock (and lets be real, the times I have seen McCarthy, she seems pretty funny, so I was eager to check it out.)
I will say that although I am no saint, I am think that the movie industry has a hey day with dropping F-Bombs all the time...   and this movie is no exception... but, it wasn't as bad as other movies I have seen, so we really enjoyed it.  Mom and I were both cracking up laughing... Only thing that would have made it better was if they had chosen to leave out the profanity... Maybe not all, but at least some...    Other than that, it was hilarious!
Synopsis:
Oscar® Winner Sandra Bullock* and Oscar® Nominee Melissa McCarthy** are a “dynamite duo” (George Pennacchio, KABC-TV) in this outrageously funny comedy from the director of Bridesmaids, Paul Feig. Uptight FBI Special Agent Sarah Ashburn (Bullock) and foul-mouthed Boston cop Shannon Mullins (McCarthy) couldn't be more incompatible. But when they join forces to bring down a ruthless drug lord, they become the last thing anyone expected...buddies.
