Anyways, I really enjoyed reading it (while Broxton was preoccupied with something else) and now he is ready to have me read it to him... As he is LOVING the pictures!!!
At the end of the book, they have a silhouette of all the animals that were pictured through the book... Broxton really enjoyed trying to identify which animal the silhouette's were!!!
If you remember, we were sent Curious Critters Volume 1 for review a bit ago... and we really enjoyed it. (Marc actually flipped through it with Broxton and he normally isn't a fan of books!)
Well, I was so excited when I was contacted about reviewing their latest edition.
Curious Critters Volume 2 is full of the amazing photos and fact filled text that I really enjoy! You see, as you read the accompanying text that goes with each photo, you are learning... but it isn't in a boring way... It is really cute and fun... and I was very impressed with the knowledge I was learning...
The one thing that stuck out to me?
Armadillos are from a family (don't remember what it was called) that used to be a whole lot bigger...
Like big like a car big... back about 10 thousand years ago!
What?????

You will be glad you did!!! They have several activities on there such as puzzles, coloring pages and more!
I can see them being part of something much bigger. They look like mini versions of some cool dino, or rhino or something anyway. :)
ReplyDeleteI'd read this to my little guy and he'd love it, I betcha. :)
