You know what?
The BIG GAME is tomorrow night and I am excited for it!
To be honest, I am not sure what has me more excited... the game or the commercials!!!
But one thing is for sure...
I am excited for all the yummy food to be enjoyed!

No matter if you are having a party, or a quiet night at home with the immediate family, there is an excuse to eat all sorts of yummy treats that you might not enjoy at other times throughout the year...
What do you eat?

Pizza?  Burgers?  Hot Dogs?
All sorts of appetizer / munchies?
I have already been thinking about what all I want to have here... but the thing is, we aren't having a party... So I don't need to have ALL that I want!!  I do know that since reading the recipe provided to me by French's Mustard, I do believe I will be trying this dip out... It sounds so good... and is EASY to make!

JALAPENO POPPER DIP
This dip has all of the great flavors of jalapeno poppers without the work.  The hardest thing about this dip is not eating it all yourself!

Prep Time: 10 minutes       Cook Time: 0 Minutes

1 pkg.                         (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 cup                          mayonnaise
1 cup                          shredded Mexican blend or cheddar cheese
¼ cup                         French’s® Classic Yellow® Mustard or French’s® Spicy Brown Mustard4                                  jalapenos peppers, seeded and diced or 1 can (4 oz.) diced jalapenos, drained2 tbsp.                        Panko bread crumbs, toasted (optional)

1.    Combine all ingredients except bread crumbs in a medium bowl.
2.    Sprinkle bread crumbs over dip just before serving.
3.    Serve with tortilla chips.

Makes 3 cups

Tips: For a hot dip, turn into 1-quart ovenproof dish; top with bread crumbs. Bake at 375°F for 20 minutes or until hot.

I think I will try it HOT -
which way sounds best to you?

Comments

  1. I'd try both ways.
However this looks interesting to taste. Hope it's not to spicy :) By hubs like the kick!

  2. If the jalepenos were in it, I'd use yellow mustard. It does sound good!
