If you are really into movie nights, you might want to check these out. I know back when we had Blockbusters and what not, my mom would rent movies every weekend, not so much now... But never forget you still have redbox, movies on demand or you can purchase them! I have not seen these yet, but they are on my list.
The Drop is available now and Drumline will be available in March!

The Drop
A phenomenal cast, including Tom Hardy and James Gandolfini, lead this gritty thriller about Bartender Bob Saginowski (Hardy) and his hardened employer Uncle Marv (Gandolfini) who must choose between survival and loyalty when they find themselves caught in a robbery gone bad, and on the hook for a mob debt they can’t repay.

Drumline: A New Beat Step up for the high-energy sequel to the smash hit Drumline! In this upbeat film about dreams, dynamism and drumming, high school grad Dani Raymond’s (Alexandra Shipp) parents are anxious to send her to the prestigious college they've picked out for her. But Dani wants to follow her dreams and land a spot on the Atlanta A&T drumline. It won’t be easy, though: some of the upperclassmen don’t want a girl on the line, and Dani finds herself in direct competition with her new love interest (Jordan Calloway). With incredible musical numbers, a gifted cast and a story that’ll quicken your heartbeat, Drumline: A New Beat is exhilarating entertainment from start to finish.
We have movie nights, but it's usually with kid movies. At least some of those are getting more advanced. We now can watch pg13 movies. We fast forward any crazy scenes. Like we watched Forrest Gump, but the scene where the mom and principle are in Forrest's house we hit the fast forward button. Then the drug scenes we did the same. We have to know those movies pretty well to let our kids watch them.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen Drumline. I bet it's good. I want to see that drum movie that was up for the Oscar this year too.
