I think that books allow an escape from todays world, for the most part. Then, there are other books that are fascinating and educational.  For years, I have had a large library, but when we had Broxton the many, many books I bought for me turned into books for him and I love encouraging him to read.  I have some books still, but many have been sold or donated over the years.  I was given the opportunity to check out The World Almanac and Book of Facts for 2015.  To be honest, I was thinking it was something totally different, so when I started flipping through the pages, I was a bit surprised with all of the information and facts that were in this book.  Then, when we found out we were pregnant, I was thrilled to have this, as it will make a great gift to give to our little one, one day down the road!  What better than a book full of facts about the year they were born???
I think this not only would make a great gift for someone that loves facts and figures, but it would be a great book to give as a gift for a milestone year (birth, graduation or even marriage!)
