If you like Mediterranean food, or like to check out new places... Make sure to take a trip to Zoes Kitchen! We were guests of the new Johns Creek Location this past weekend and let me tell you... Delicious!
When we arrived, we immediately headed to the restroom (you know, trips with children, normally means bathroom breaks and washing hands!) At this point, no one there knew we were there for a review and I noticed they were so friendly and attentive to the customers in the store. After washing up, I introduced myself to Mike (the GM) and he told us to grab a seat while our meals were prepared. We grabbed drinks at their drink station (they have soda and tea over there.)
As I said, if you like Mediterranean food or trying other items, I say check it out. We loved the food and the staff. We were even sent a piece of their chocolate cake to go and I am sorry to tell you it was inhaled before a camera could be brought out to photograph it. (Awesome chocolate on chocolate!)
If you are in or near Johns Creek (Georgia) please go and check them out. You will not be disappointed!

The Johns Creek location has just recently opened. You can tell the area they are located in is up and coming as some neighboring stores are not yet open. If you enjoy dining outside, they have a patio available. This day was a beautiful day to dine outside, but we sat inside because Broxton picked the table.
I am a new fan of humus and I was so happy when we were brought the humus trio to start. It was funny, they brought it out to us and right after that a customer walked past, noticed the plate and wanted to know how it was, as she was thinking of getting it, but was unsure. I told her the few bites I had were great, so I bet after seeing the plate, she will be trying it next visit. Even if you are not a fan of humus, you have to admit, the presentation was nice. I loved it!
Broxton chose to go with a kids quesadilla with a side of fruit. He thought it was good and I liked that they had around 5 or 6 options for kids meals.
One meal we tried? The chicken kabob. Wow. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and the rice was awesome. Broxton ended up eating the rice and took his meal home for later. I ate the salad that came with it and brought some of the kabob home for Marc to try out. It was a few hours later when he was able to eat it and he commented on how good it was and that the meal traveled pretty well!
The other meal we were sent to try out? The chicken pita sandwich with white beans for the side item. Again, the chicken was amazing and I loved the way the flavors all worked together. The beans were great as well, but I knew that would be an item Marc would enjoy. Marc enjoyed the sandwich and the beans and had a hard time picking his favorite.

That food looks wonderful! Healthy to!
ReplyDeleteThat hummus plate has my mouth watering! I like that the menu has some choices that are more "American," in case your party includes people who don't care for Mediterranean flavors. They have a couple of locations in NJ, but none near here. :(
ReplyDeleteNever heard of them before, but sounds nice! I'm reading this before lunch and now I'm hungry! LOL Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Jill
Hey, that's my granddaughter's name. Of course we would have to stop in. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's always nice to find a great place to dine in!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like great food! We don't have this place here, but this makes me want to go to our local Mediterranean restaurants for dinner.
