Mamma Chia - #SeedYourSoul

Mamma Chia is a product line that is new to me.  Let me be honest, for the longest time, I thought "chia" was just something for the "chia pets" I did not realize it was a little seed that was healthy for you!   I was recently sent several products from the Mamma Chia line and I learned that a big majority in me liking a food or not has a WHOLE lot to do with the texture.  I will share more about the products in a minute, but I wanted to point out...  I LOVED the chia bars, they were full of flavor. I was not really a fan of the drinks (or the pouches) though.  It was weird, I loved the flavor of them (*especially the one with ginger in it) but I could not get past the taste to drink the whole bottle.  No one needs to worry about us wasting any of it, because Marc really took to liking them and enjoyed the whole product line while working!

Since we were sent a whole selection of  products from Mamma Chia.  As soon as I saw the granola-chia clusters, I knew that I wanted to make us yogurt parfaits for breakfast one morning.

I really liked how they were super crunchy and stayed crunchy even mixed with the yogurt.  Marc thought they were a bit too crunchy for his liking.

As I mentioned, I was not a fan (loved the flavor, not the texture) of the pouches.  Marc loved them and loved the convenience of them.  He could open it and enjoy while at work or even going to/from work.  He actually enjoyed them more than the bars.  Once I told him how much more of a healthy benefit they were versus others (bullet points above) he wants to add them to his daily lunch!

I really enjoyed the bars.  They were chewy and crunchy, full of flavor in each bite!  Looks like it worked out great for us, as we both got to enjoy something while leaving the best to the other!

If you are looking for a great snack (road trips and gym mornings) you will want to give these products a try!   Remember to try out their drinks too, as Marc still talks about how great they are!
Are you a fan of chia seed products? If so, what do you use them for? (I need more ideas to use them here!)
