Biloxi with kids? Yes! #MakingMemories #hosted

People always seem to look surprised when I tell them we plan a yearly trip to Biloxi.  They are quick to ask, "With your kids?  What do you do?"  So I thought it would be nice to share again just what our Biloxi trip looks like each year.  I have posted before (and shared on INSTAGRAM) but thought I would share a few more pictures from our last trip.
Our "Home away from Home" each summer for at least a few days.

Let me start by saying that I have been going to Biloxi for years.  I love it there and now it is a fun place that my kids look forward to visiting each year as well.  We plan a trip at some point each summer and normally my parents go as well. We make the most out of it, but unfortunately, my parents were not able to go this year.  To catch you all up, mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, so the annual trip was not going to happen this year.  After much debate, we decided that it was our last trip before school started (and I was really excited to go, as this is my birthday trip each year and I turn 40 in August!)  and the kids and I were still going to make it.  Hurricane Barry was headed that way, so we kept trying to decide what to do.... As you can tell, we made a go for it.  The weather was not as bad as expected, although it did rain the WHOLE time, which made for a change of plans... but it was SO WORTH IT ALL!

Every year we go, we have certain things we have to do ... you know... tradition!
The "must do" list each year:
Go to Broxton's favorite restaurant.
Go to the current show at Beau Rivage - 2019 is Lunaro
Go to the Buffett at Beau Rivage
Go to New Orleans for the day.

Well, due to the hurricane, New Orleans was under water - please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.  We  were able to change it up and make wonderful memories.
Two of the older brothers live in Louisiana, so we were going to meet them in New Orleans, they ended up coming to us in Biloxi!  Get this.. the oldest had NEVER MET SAVANNAH, but now we can mark that off the list!   Each year we went, his work schedule had him out of town, but this year it worked out perfectly!  We had Big Marc (the oldest brother) and his wife, Amanda (she had met Savannah when we went to Mardi Gras a few years ago,)  as well as Roman (2nd oldest brother) and his girlfriend, Sarah join us!  Broxton was excited because he got to take them to his favorite restaurant in Biloxi.  The plan was to catch a baseball game with the Shuckers being home this weekend, but weather kept that from happening.

After lunch, we had to hit up 2 different arcades. Broxton has always enjoyed the arcade at the Beau.  I like that we don't have to spend all the tickets on that trip, it goes on his Arcade Card and he can use them the next trip.  I don't know when the arcade opened, but it has been around for ages, my brother used to go when he was younger and he is about to be 30!  The whole family loved it and it was great for Broxton and Savannah to get to spend time with their older siblings.  The game room is open from like 10 am to 9 pm, so there is plenty of time to enjoy.  If your children are older, they can hang out in there without adults while you enjoy the casino.  Lucky for me, the older siblings volunteered to watch the younger ones so that Mommy was able to have a bit of time to enjoy the "adult game room!"

This picture was 4 years in the making!  I just wish the middle two brothers would have been here, but it makes my heart so happy!   Youngest to oldest... Savannah, Broxton, Roman and Big Marc!!!!   This made every second of the whole trip worth it!
I do want to point out the background...  Top Golf Swing Suite is opening up Fall 2019, so they are changing up the shopping area a bit.

Of course, I mentioned the Buffet at The Beau Rivage was on our Must Do List.  Each day we would walk by, Broxton would ask when we would get to eat there.  I am not sure if he loves it more because of the great selection of foods, or the huge selection of dessert, but I know he loves eating there each time and you can't beat the food and view.

We love the Beau.  My parents go a few times a year.  We go once a year.  The staff is always wonderful. The food is great.  There is so much to do. The decor is beautiful.  I love the huge arrangement of flowers that they have in the middle of the walkway as you enter the from the parking deck.  I think I have to take a picture of it each visit.  I am not the only one that loves it, as you can watch people stopping to take a picture in front of it pretty much every time you walk by. Don't you agree the flowers are beautiful???

All in all, there are many reasons that we all love the Beau. Most of all, it is about making memories!

Do you go on an annual trip to a certain location?  Have yo
u ever been to Biloxi?
