Paper Coterie - Review

Image
If you love giving and receiving personalized gifts... I have found THE SITE for you! I had the privilege to work with Paper Coterie and I am so in love with this company! Let me just tell you about them... First of all, I was able to pick out a couple of things for review... Their prices were great and their site was so easy to navigate! They have several different photo books , so it was fun playing around! I chose the "Book of ABC" for Broxton . ($29 for hard cover!) This isn't just a photo book, this is also a book to teach him his ABC's! Now, when I got this, I was at the apartment office... I could not wait, so I immediately opened it up! While I was deeply involved in looking at it, the apartment manager (as well as another resident) saw my awe and wanted to know if they could take a look as well. Of course I said "YES!" and they ooohed and a aahed over the quality as well! Sure thing, they had to know where I got this, as they wanted to look at ord...

6 Tips On How You Can Spend Money and Save - Guest Post

Marc and I have been talking about things like this... I said that especially when we have the boys, it would probably be great for us to buy toilet paper / paper towels in bulk... With that in mind, I want to share yet another money saving tip with you. 6 Tips on How You Can Spend Money and Save By: Andrea Woroch 1. Purchase a Club Membership While you have to pay for a membership fee to join clubs like Costco and Sam's Club, they do offer excellent prices on many items sold in bulk. Try not to buy on impulse, however, as you could find your pantry stocked with 20 years worth of canned beans. 2. Buy Gift Cards Buying gift cards from discount sites like Gift Card Granny is a great way to save on everything from groceries to electronics, particularly since you can buy gift cards at these sites for up to half their face value. 3. Dive into Deal-of-the-Day Sites I recently received an offer from Groupon to buy $40 worth of bedding plants for just $17. Since I planned on spending at...

Being a Mommy - What did I do before?

I never thought I would be so lucky to be where I am now. I used to work in a sports bar, crazy hours. That meant crazy sleep hours to. I used to never see 7 am (unless it was a late night). Now, I try to sneak in a few hours, for I know we rise and shine early now! Broxton has brought me a love and happiness that I never knew. I can just watch him playing and I notice a smile sneak up on my face. Or when he gets to being silly and I start to laugh. Its not even monumental thing, but everyday pleasures of life. The way he has to run, always in a hurry... Especially when its time to kiss mommy and daddy. And get this, we get kisses and hugs JUST BECAUSE! Seeing him sitting and playing, learning everday. He can play with his cars & trucks on and on again. Playing ball... Soccer? Football? It is fun, no matter what! Even just rolling them back and forth to each other! This little boy will never ever understand just how much he means to me... But I plan on doing my best to show h...

Sidewalk Chalk is so fun

Image
Granted the weather has been nasty the past couple days... (Thoughts and prayers to those affected.) We had a bit of good weather, at one point, so we try to take advantage of it. (When we can.) We play on the porch, we go to the park... Whenever we can go and get fresh air, we do! The other day, we decided to bust out the sidewalk chalk... On our porch! We tried learning our ABC's Time to work on our shapes! Broxton just loved being messy! But he did enjoy drawing too! But the mess is so much fun!!!! I just love those toes!!! Covered in chalk or not, I think they are too cute! After all that fun, he had to play with his cars in the "dirt." Once they were good and dirty, he had to run them through the car wash ! (I think I need to win a sand and water table from a blog!)

Disney Live

Image
Well, I heard that Disney Live: Mickey's Magic Show was coming to my hometown.. I told my mom and after a bit, it was determined... Broxton just "had" to go! He loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, so I knew he would have a great time! Of course, my mom thought so as well, so she treated us to a day with Mickey and Friends! We went to visit my mom and headed over to the Civic Center to see the show. I tell you what, they don't mess around... It said the show started at 2:30 and bet your money... 2:30, the show had started! This particular one was Mickey and Friends hosting a magic show. We saw Mickey and Minnie.. Donald and Goofy... We also got to see several of the Disney Princesses. The other characters started off with a bit from Alice and Wonderland... We saw so many different characters and I will say... My absolute favorite was the Aladdin scene! As for the drawbacks... I thought that our tickets were reasonably priced, considering it was a Disney Show... BUT, I did t...

Aloha Friday -

Image
Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday . In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. My question to you: Have you heard about the Postage Paid Cards from Hallmark? ( I wanted to ask if you watched the Royal Wedding, but I figure others will be asking that, so I went in a different direction!) I saw them on the tv the other night.. I think it is a great idea, one less thing to have to worry about! Then, I was contacted about the chance to review them! Now, you can enter if you want by clicking HERE . Feel free to click the giveaway tab up top and enter all my current contests!!!!
