If you have known me for a while, you might know I love turtles.  Turtles and Frogs, although I will not touch a real one.  I just love to look at them.   So, having said that... When I heard it was "WORLD TURTLE DAY" I just had to share.  This is not a sponsored post, just something fun.   We can all use more people around like those Ninja Turtles!  (Let's all work to STOP Bullying!)   TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: OUT OF THE SHADOWS  is in-theaters  June 3, 2016 ! #TMNT2 Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael return to theaters this summer to battle bigger, badder villains, alongside April O’Neil (Megan Fox), Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett), and a newcomer: the hockey-masked vigilante Casey Jones (Stephen Amell). It's the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Come Inside, It's fun inside!  Chances are, if you have a younger child you might be familiar with this song.  When Broxton was younger, we got into watching it from time to time. (Hello, we all LOVE Mickey and his friends!)  I have had it on a couple times for background noise and whenever Savannah hears it, she normally has to stop what she's doing to watch a little bit of it.  Now, I have a DVD to play for her if she's looking for it when it is not on TV. I love that this one is Mickey's Sport-y-thon.  Let's get them out there and active!!!! Just because school is slowly coming to an end, that doesn't mean that we will be ending the reading that we do daily.  Let me back up... does it seem like these last couple of weeks are going by so SLOW, or is it just that way in our house?  I don't know who has the end of the year itch worse, Broxton or the mama, because I know I am sure enough ready for summer break!   I have decided I am going to make a box of books and each day of summer break he has to read part of the book (or the whole thing, depending upon the size) before we can do other activities such as the ipad or television. It isn't meant to be school work, but more of an escape to a fun place. Reading is fun and we will make the most out of it.  One of the books that will be going in our box of books? Normal Norman.   FTC Compliant Review Policy:    The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole pu...

If you know me, you might now that I am all about trying to make the most of memories with my children.  I am blessed that we are able to go and do different things and each time we can, we are so thankful for the opportunity.  Recently we were invited to Bowlmor in Chamblee for an event to see what all their place offered.  As we walked in, I felt like this was a throwback to the traditional bowling alley / arcade that I remember going to as a child.  I LOVED IT.   FTC Compliant Review Policy:    The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. Right behind them you see a good amount of lanes that are calling your name to come and play.  If that is...

Do you know anyone that is graduating this year?  If you do, I have a pretty great gift idea for you to get them.  I know when I left for college, it was so cool to get actual MAIL and lucky for me, my mom made it a point to drop a note in the mail for me weekly... but now you can step it up a notch! Send them a gift box subscription!   Have you thought about a Loot Crate subscription?  I am telling you, it is hard to imagine but they just keep being awesome.  No disappointments here at all.  We have been lucky enough to work with them in reviewing their boxes for a few months now and I have yet to get one that left me feeling like it wasn't totally worth the money like other subscription boxes seem to be. Most people that know me know just how much I love   LOVE RED VELVET.  I love it as a cake, cupcakes, muffin, milkshake, pancakes...  You name the sweet treat and you best believe that I will try it and hopefully enjoy it.  When I saw that Ihop was bringing limited time "bakery favorites" and that Red Velvet Crepes were on the menu, I knew I wanted to try it out.   FTC Compliant Review Policy: The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. I was recently given the chance to work with Einstein Bros Bagels in a review of a limited time menu option, keep reading, I will tell you about it in a second...  First, I want to show you a picture of THE bagel that keeps bringing me back.
