Each year we go to Biloxi for a family get away.  It is usually a celebration for my birthday, but also a little family vacation before school starts back.  The last several years we make a day trip and drive over to New Orleans.  (If you have never been, you should totally go.. the food there is AMAZING!) The last couple years, I noticed the Insectarium and told myself to do more research as to what exactly this was.  I am NOT a fan of bugs, so I was not about to point this place out to Broxton...  Well, I checked it out online and it actually looked interesting. I always like to know the history behind things... so imagine my curiosity when I learned of  Eight O'Clock coffee!  After visiting their site, I learned that the most popular times to drink coffee is... Summer is almost over.  Seems like school just got out for the summer and now here we are starting back.  I remember when I was in school we got 3 months off for summer... now seems like they are getting shorter and shorter.  Honestly, I would not mind year round school, if they incorporated nice long breaks in between, but I think I am in the minority on this one.  Seeing as though I am a working mom now, we really did not get much time to go and do like we have in the past, but I tried to make it as fun as I could.  We planned a trip to the beach for several days and let me tell you... WE HAD A BLAST!!!!   I do wish time would slow down, as I know my "babies" won't stay "babies" forever... but I honestly LOVE watching them grow up and become who they are.  Yes, I have hopes and dreams... all parents do, but in the end... I want them to be WHO they are meant to be!    Since summer is coming to an end... and school has started back...

I love that Nickelodeon is putting out new tv shows, but unfortunately Savannah is stuck on a couple favorites right now... As much as I love watching the University of Georgia Football team, not everyone knows about the college I attended.  It was a small liberal arts college that did not even have a football team!  (UGA was just too big for me, I never tried to go there!)  My college did have soccer though and of course I was friends with many on the soccer team.  Actually my roommate my first year played soccer, so there you go.
