MixBook Photo Co - Review

Image
If you know me AT ALL - you know I absolutely LOVE photos!  I was the one walking around with a camera in highschool... way before digital cameras and cell phones!  I have so many photos and you better believe I have tons of photo albums.  The hard thing about cell phones and photos is that I have a very hard time deleting them once I print.  I know I should delete some, to clear out space.. but I love looking back at them!  The weird thing? I read that they said this generation is THE MOST PHOTOGRAPHED generation, but also the one generation that has the least amount of PRINTED photos.  ** Not in our house, I will print those jokers in a heartbeat!  The thing is, I had the chance to review MIXBOOK and make a photo album out of my own photos, so that saved me the trouble of printing and adding to an actual album!   FTC Compliant Review Policy:    The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the ma...

New Zealand Honey #review

Image
As my followers know, Savannah has had eczema for years and years.  We hope she will grow out of it, but as of yet - not happening.  We have tried creams/ diets/ lotions/ medications and nothing really happens. Yes, they all seem to work for a while, but then it seems like her body gets used to it.  We have heard that Manuka Honey was a great thing to add and my girl LOVES her some honey, so when I was given the chance to review it, of course I said yes!    FTC Compliant Review Policy:    The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. Image
Hello! Our house has been taken over by Unicorns!  If you know my Savannah, you know she LOVES them and has loved them for around 3 years now!  She has had unicorn birthday cakes the past 3 years, her room is COVERED in Unicorns and her clothing... yep... mostly unicorns!  She spotted the Star Belly Dream Lights and has mentioned needing (note the NEED in that ) them since she saw them!    Well, lucky for us, she was sent one for review and it has quickly taken space in the bed with the other unicorns now!   FTC Compliant Review Policy:    The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. Not the best of pictures, but the excitement in her face when she opened the box and saw she had a STAR BELLY UNICORN was captured and that was what I wanted to get!...

Spice Things Up with @D8tebox #review

I think Subscription Boxes are just the coolest thing! Sometimes they are a bust and I get a little frustrated, but other times they are a hit and are just awesome. I was given the chance to check out D8TE BOX and while I am not on the dating scene, there is the sweetest younger couple at my work that I thought this would be perfect for.  They have been dating for  almost 4 years and seeing their date nights online, I just knew they would love it.  I mean, sometimes they go out for date nights, but others are just nights in or at a friends house, so this would be different for them to check out!    FTC Compliant Review Policy:    The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. Tailgates or Stockings... @Old_Trapper is a hit! #Review

Image
Having a 13 year old, it is hard to find great ideas for him as far as "stocking stuffer" gifts.   I have been trying to get my game plan together and when I was sent the Old Trapper Beef Jerky for review, I knew I had found one of the things going in there!   I didn't think much about it, as I wanted to try the beef jerky for me... Just being honest!   FTC Compliant Review Policy:    The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. Opinions expressed are  my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. Headed to the game and not much time to pack lunch?  Just grab some beef jerky!   Or after a game and not wanting to fight the crowd of everyone and their brother trying to grab a bite to eat on the way home?  Yep, beef jerky!   I have actually caught myself grabbing it for a snack on work days and...

Great Battles for Boys - American Revolution #BookReview

Image
Broxton used to love to read. He would always have a book in his hand, but then around 4th grade, that changed and he is no longer a fan of books.  I have noticed him slowly getting back into reading, but it is mostly books about military and history.  He has always been a fan of military history, so when I find books that might grab his attention, I am always eager to see if it will be enjoyed by him!   FTC Compliant Review Policy:    The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. Opinions expressed are  my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. From Concord and Lexington to Brandywine and Yorktown, the stunning battles show young readers how ragtag colonists took on the world’s mightiest military of its time — the British Imperial Army, otherwise known as the Red Coats. History leaps off the page and captures even reluctant re...

Thicken Your Hair with @Pura_Dor #Haircare #review

The end of last year was pretty rough for me...  That is to be shared another day on another post... but the point of this one is this... I ended up in the hospital for pretty much most of December.  I had emergency surgery and thank goodness I was able to be home for Christmas with my babies...  While all of that was going on, I didn't think about much but getting out and getting well and getting back to my kiddos.  Once I was out and back at work, it hit me... I had lost a good amount of my hair.  I have always had VERY THICK HAIR - to the point that whenever I get a hair cut we always thin it.. and then thin it once more..    It would take ages to dry and boy was it hot!!!! Like I said, I was home and healing and I noticed that it didn't take me but a few minutes to dry my hair, it wasn't a big pony tail when I pulled it back and oh my gosh it was so thin!   I asked a few friends what was going on as I was concerned... I mean, if I noticed...
