How creative are you? Aloha Friday - # 58
Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too.
What is the most creative costume you ever made or wore?
My answer -
When I was younger, my mom helped dress me up as Groucho Marx!
Yep!!! I really need to find the picture!

I have never had a creative costume in my life. I'm not kidding.
ReplyDeleteI was never really into dressing up so, I usually had a basic costume.
ReplyDeleteCaptain Hook for my husband. I made the whole costume.
ReplyDeleteUmmm let me think I know i was a garbage one yr. YEP put black cork on my face and a hefty bag around my body wore black pants and went trick or treating
ReplyDeleteOne year, at a Halloween Bash/Dance at a local bar, I went as Martha Stewart. (Back in the year she was put behind bars) I found a blond wig online that really looked like her hair (one side of the bangs hung down in my eye, ya know) I wore a striped black/white jail suit. I had handcuffs on. On my entrance, I carried a huge plate of Halloween cookies to give to everyone while saying, "It's a good thing". I had fun playing the part. We had a lot of laughs.
ReplyDeleteI've never worn any Halloween costumes before!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday, Noelle!
One of my favorite that I personally have made was the Statue of Liberty. I've made some fun costumes for my kids, posted some for WW this past week.
ReplyDeleteI have made a few... Let's see I think this years is the best. Daughter wanted a smurf one. No pattern so I had to view a movie and design one of it.
ReplyDeleteMy Aloha Friday link for you
How cool - Groucho Marx! The most creative costume was the Double Mint Twins with my co-worker. We had identical blonde braid wigs, green shirts, white pants and we carried around packs of the gum. It was so cute!
ReplyDelete:) I totally want to see that pic!
ReplyDeleteI've never made a costume before. I'm not that creative and my kids are just getting the idea of halloween, so not sure how that will progress with costumes.
Have a lovely weekend!
Two years ago my son dressed up as The Man in the Yellow Hat and we used his little monkey backpack with a leash as his "Curious George" - so cute!
ReplyDeleteI remember sewing genie costumes for my kids when they were little but my fav would have to be when they went as Thing 1 and Thing 2. It was too easy!
ReplyDeleteHave a great Friday!

ReplyDeleteI wish I was creative but I got nothing...
ReplyDeleteI made a Santa Claus and Mrs. Santa costume for hubby and myself for Christmas. It turned out really well.
ReplyDeleteBut for my kids for halloween, not yet, maybe next year!
