Real Kids, Real Stories, Real Change - Book Review
Day Two of my Hurry Up the Holidays posts is going to be about a great book!!
This book takes everyday kids, from ALL over the world and tells their story and how they made a difference. In today's world, I think that the younger generation tends to think that their voices are small and will not make a difference, but with the help of this book, I think it might start to change.
This book takes us all over the world, from the USA to Vietnam... China to Pakistan...
There are no borders with the difference that young kids can make!

Some kids worked to make a change for their environment.
There are even kids who Stand up for Themselves, as well as help others.

(With all the bullying today, maybe this should be read in the classrooms!)
I especially liked the section talking about "KIDS OVERCOMING CHALLENGES."
(This section even tells the story of Alex's Lemonade stand...)
The final section of this book tells how children use their talents and creativity to make a difference...
Heck, it even made a difference in ME and I am not a child, I am just so proud of all of them!!!
Thanks again to FREE SPIRIT PUBLISHING for the chance to review this book!!!!
(I am telling you, everyone should check out this Publishing company! I am so honored to work with them in these reviews! Their books are meaningful!)
If you can, order one ... for your child...
and then another to donate to your library!
Other parents will thank you!!

How incredibly inspiring! I would love to see a book in every classroom!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, this one sounds so inspirational. Thank you again for another great review and find.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see if we can acuire it for not only me to read, but my kids too. I bet this would be good for our youth church group as well.
Kids these days need some hope in that they really can make a difference in this world and it is so easily done with just little things, they really do not have to do something "big".
