Aloha Friday - Is it to early?


Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too.

My question this week:
Is it to early to start thinking about Christmas Shopping?

My answer:
Not for me, I am already planning my Holiday Gift Guide, with reviews and giveaways! Kicks off October 1st :)

    Not at all! I usually start my Christmas shopping in early October. I've already bought one gift so far this year - for my sister and she's the hardest person to shop for. I'm glad I was able to find something for her early and not have to stress about what to get her.

    No, not to early at all.. beats rushing around shopping in the snow! I have try to shop during the year for small things and towards the holiday, get the 1 big item for each of them.. with 6 in the house, I need to shop early

    I go Christmas shopping year round. I have 3 relatives that have birthdays right at Christmas time. Double wammy gifts! That's why I shop early.

    Definitely never too early - usually I try to have my shopping done by Thanksgiving, but the last couple of years I've been disorganized and ended up shopping right until the last minute...hopefully this year I'll be back on track so I can relax and enjoy the actual season! ;)

Fire Fly Toothbrushes - #giveaway

Is it a hassle to get your younger kids to brush their teeth? Broxton loves it and asks throughout the day if he can go and brush his... Now that he has a new toothbrush!!! We were sent a couple toothbrushes from Fire Fly Toothbrushes and I just love the concept! With Fire Fly, they light up! You just press the button and they light up for a solid minute. What we do here is a little system. First, Broxton brushes his teeth for the first minute. (just a teeny bit of toothpaste) Then, I brush the next minute (once again, minimal toothpaste.) Finally, he gets to brush them a final minute (no toothpaste.) The system is working and his teeth are clean! During the day, when he wants to brush them.. He can, but with no toothpaste. As we all know, it can sometimes be a bit difficult to take the temperature of a sick child. Hey, some adults are known to be big babies... The longer they have to wait, the fussier they become. Well, with the Exergen Temporal Scanner ... Wait is something that can be eliminated! Why do I say that? Just because the wait is merely 2 seconds! During that time, you will already be finished a gift giveaway blog hop, exergen temporal scanner, mom must have, R nd moving on to something else. I really like the ease of the Exergen Thermometer.
