Breaking News in the delicious world of candy!!!!!
Today, I have two pieces of great tasting information to share with you!
Up First :  
Did you hear the news of Mike and Ike?
I received an email about it and although I was never a Mike and Ike fan...
(Truth be told, I don't think I had ever tried them...)
I was a bit saddened by the news of their split... 
It seems as though Mike and Ike are no longer Mike and Ike...
Mike is off pursuing his musical dreams... and Ike is working on his artistry!!!

No Mike and Ike is like peanut butter and no jelly.
Ham no burger.
Ice no cream.
Koolaid no sugar..
It just is not right!

As you can imagine...
There is a heated debate going on at this house..
Marc is Team Ike all the way and Broxton is adamantly pulling for Mike!

Remember how I said I wasn't a fan?  Well, that was before I tried these bits of yummy goodness!  I was able to snag a couple while Marc and Broxton had their debate and truth be told... they just need to put their differences aside... for the sake of everyone!!!!

Second Piece of News:
Welch's has introduced two flavors of Filled Licorice.
I am not a big licorice fan.. although I have found a couple that I like and would eat from time to time...
(No, I do not think I would stop and pick these out to buy, but I would eat them if offered...)
Today, I can tell you that I would stop and purchase the Filled Licorice from Welch's.
As much as I love strawberries, I was not really sold on the Strawberry flavor.
The grape though?  Yep... that was good stuff right there!

The Welch's uses your soft chewy licorice that most people like...but they take it up a notch by adding a gooey center to it that will give the extra flavor that some look for!
I think that licorice fans will see it as a double treat, others that are not fans will be surprised by the product.
I would just hate to be the one that tries these first and then goes to a plain licorice later...
Talk about disappointment!

Fire Fly Toothbrushes - #giveaway

Is it a hassle to get your younger kids to brush their teeth? Broxton loves it and asks throughout the day if he can go and brush his... Now that he has a new toothbrush!!! We were sent a couple toothbrushes from Fire Fly Toothbrushes and I just love the concept! With Fire Fly, they light up! You just press the button and they light up for a solid minute. What we do here is a little system. First, Broxton brushes his teeth for the first minute. (just a teeny bit of toothpaste) Then, I brush the next minute (once again, minimal toothpaste.)
