Lift-the-Flap and Learn - Two New Books

I can not lie to you...
Let me tell you something and I am not ashamed to admit it...
I am 33 years old (just turned it in August...) and I have really enjoyed LEARNING flipping through two new books that we just received for review...

Up first, Who's Looking at  You?, is a great lift the flap book that has you guessing what eyes are staring back at you...  I tell you what, each time I wanted it to be an owl and I kept going whoo- who - whoo...
but they had all sorts of animals...
From the first one (a Gorilla, I got that one) you learn that a Gorilla doesn't want you to stare, they think it is a sign of anger... to the page with the sea turtle, did you know that when they leave the water, they shed tears?  It is to get the salt water out and to keep sand out...
I loved the information that I was learning...
The only drawback I have?  The last two pages had eyes on them and you could flip the flap to see what animal it was, but there was no "tidbit of information" on there... I wanted more!

The other book, Tushes and Tails, has you looking at the other end...
I admit, I was not so sure at looking at the back end of animals, but it was kinda fun to guess what I was looking at!
Yes, the cow was kinda hard NOT to get right with those udders all in your face, but I had no clue about the Okapi.  I was all sort of yelling, ZEBRA like I was on wheel of fortune or something, then I turned the page and nope... Dead wrong.. Well, not totally wrong, as the Okapi has a striped pattern like a zebra that helps the baby follow its mom on their journey.. but get this... it is a cousin of the giraffe! Did not know that one!
I also learned that a groundhog whistles out a warning to his friends before going underground if he spots danger... Talk about a great friend!
This book also has the last two pages with more tushes and less information.
I have to go with the other book... I want more!
More I say!  More more more...
Hope that they make more Flip the Flap Books...
Maybe noses ...  Feet... Skin...
I don't know, but it was neat learning this!

This was not only a great book to read and learn, the photography in here was amazing!
If you love animals, or just learning in general... I suggest grabbing these now!
