My Dad Can Beat Up Your Dad - Taken 2

Taken 2 was just released and I was super excited to watch it!!!!
I saw the first one in the theaters, so I was ready to watch Taken 2, as the first one was such a great movie, I had to see if they could pull off another great one!

So, to celebrate the release, we have a fun post to share with you from Fox:
Liam Neeson Returns in the Action-Packed Sequel from Producer Luc Besson
"MY DAD CAN BEAT UP YOUR DAD!"

He hunted them, he found them, he killed them; now they have come back to settle the score. Bryan Mills is one @$$-kicking dad, to be sure. But is he the ultimate? Take a look at this collection of the most bad@$$ dads around and judge for yourself!

Bryan Mills, Taken 2

Oscar® and BAFTA-nominated actor Neeson returns in Taken 2 as Bryan Mills, the retired CIA agent who stopped at nothing to save his daughter Kim from kidnappers. When the father of one of the villains Bryan killed swears revenge, and takes him and his wife hostage in Istanbul, Bryan must enlist the help of Kim to escape. Bryan then employs his unique tactics to get his family to safety and systematically take out the kidnappers, one by one by one!

John Quincy Archibald, John Q
Denzel Washington stars as the title character, John Q, a down-on-his luck dad whose insurance won't cover his son's heart transplant. He has no choice but to take the hospital's entire emergency room hostage. Despite his aggression, the audience roots for John who is driven by a father’s love and will stop at nothing until the doctors agree to perform the operation.
John McClane, Die Hard
John McClane (Bruce Willis) is certainly one of the most iconic action heroes of all time, but most forget that he’s also a dad! When we arrive at the fourth entry to the Die Hard series, Live Free or Die Hard, McClane’s daughter, Lucy, gets taken hostage, and John is not going to back down until she’s safe. In the fifth installment of the franchise, watch for McClane to team up with his son to take down terrorists.

Don Vito Corleone, The Godfather
Who could be a bigger butt-kicking father than the Godfather (Marlon Brando) himself?! He won’t just kick ass in the name of his children, he’ll have you "taken care of" without breaking a sweat. Throughout the infamous film trilogy, we watch as the Godfather’s successor, his middle son Michael (Al Pacino), takes the reigns and surpasses his father’s legacy, making more irrefusable offers and putting fear into the hearts of men all for the sake of his family.

President James Marshall, Air Force One
One of the most beloved action stars ever, Harrison Ford stars as the quintessential dad: The President of the United States and leader of the free world. Following a speech that dictates the United States will not negotiate with terrorists; assailants aboard Air Force One attack his family. But don’t worry; Mr. President is not going to take this lying down.

Darth Vader, Star Wars
It’s true, not all dads use their powers for good. Darth Vader, Dark Lord of the Sith, may be the Supreme Commander of the "dark side" and the right-hand to its evil emperor, but let’s not forget it was his overwhelming love for wife and family that lead him astray. Surely his last-minute conversation and deathbed proclamations to his son Luke count in the hearts of the good.

***** I received an advance screener of this movie for review purposes.
