Wait a Cotton Pickin' Minute...
Growing up in South Georgia, I took for granted many of the beautiful things around me...
Looking around now, I see the beauty (at least it is to me) and I like to photograph it when I can.
We see cotton ... Every single field we pass....
And Broxton loves yelling about the cotton and the cotton gins.
So, of course, I had to stop and take a couple pictures.
Hope you enjoy!

I love your pictures! You got so close to the cotton.
ReplyDeleteI think it's pretty too. Thanks for sharing it. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is gorgeous, and something I've never seen in real life!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteVery nice:)
ReplyDeleteThat is pretty!!! Cotton always reminded me of a cross between: Cotton Candy (where they got the name), clouds and popcorn. Is it odd that I think it looks like popcorn?
ReplyDeleteI also LOVE GA peaches, Magnolia Tree buds (we don't have big Magnolia trees here) and Spanish moss in Savannah!
It's the little things that gives us beauty.
ReplyDeleteVery nice shots!
That is really cool. I don't think I have ever seen cotton fields before.
ReplyDeleteAmazing shot. We were in Cordele, GA a few weeks ago and I got out and took a shot of a cotton field but nothing like this!
ReplyDeleteVery cool! I used to live in South Georgia too!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen cotton fields before - they're really quite ethereal aren't they? All that white and fluffy-cloudiness.
