Wow.  If you want a movie that keeps your mind RACING the whole time...
Look into TRANCE.
We had the chance to review it... and I actually was able to get Marc to watch without having to ask more than once!!!!   As soon as the movie started (okay.. not AS SOON... about 5 minutes into it!)  I was already saying "are you lost?  I am lost... It is good, but I am so confused!"
That lasted pretty much the whole movie, but I did not keep saying it out loud, just in my head!
To me, this was like a mix of several movies..

(the being lost part that is... Take Mullholland Drive and mix it up with Memento... Then you start to get where I was as far as "what just happened")
So, plan a movie night soon and watch!
I know I will be watching it again soon!
I would love to know your thoughts if you have seen this..
Please, don't post any spoilers in the comments.... but feel free to email me!
Synopsis:
From ACADEMY AWARD®-Winning director Danny Boyle* (Slumdog Millionaire) comes an “exhilarating brain-twister” (New York Post)! After a blow to the head during his attempted robbery of a $27 million Goya painting, Simon (James McAvoy, X-Men: First Class), a fine-art auctioneer, awakens to find that the painting – and his memory – are missing. Forced by his ruthless crime partner Franck (Vincent Cassel, Black Swan) to undergo hypnosis, Simon enters into a deadly love triangle with his seductive hypnotist (Rosario Dawson, Sin City). As the plot twists, the line between reality and dream becomes blurred in this fast-paced, unpredictable, “sexy and suspenseful” (Empire) thriller.

  1. I watched a movie not long ago that I really liked but was a little lost in, I can't even remember the name of it (ugh) but Leonardo DiCaprio was the lead actor. I'm going to watch it again before too much time passes to try and get a better understanding of it all. :)

Thanks for the review on this one!

  2. It it sounds like a movie you need to watch more than once! Mail4rosey, I think you mean Inception and the movie is great but it does help to watch more than once, a dream inside a dream, in side a dream and so on.
