Flip Flops / Sandals have not been my friend for pretty much my whole life.  I hate admitting that, but I never even had a pedicure until I was in my 20's.  I know, that is crazy... but being honest here.  I have a thing about feet.  I HATE THEM... and in hating them, I was not about to show mine to other people... Until I got the first pedicure... Then, I realized I love how my feet feel afterwards... Except the fact that I can only wear my sandals for like a day before my feet hurt and sneakers go back on...

Oh, did I mention that I am flat footed like no other?  Yep, so whenever I wear sandals, after just a bit, I am over it... and back to sneakers since they offer support to my arches.
Imagine my excitement when I not only learned about Vionic shoes with Orthaheel Technology but that I would be getting a pair for review!

I was able to review the Bella Sandal:
Adorned with a feminine bow that’s trimmed with the Vionic “V” logo, this toe-post style is the perfect sandal to slip on this Spring.
  • Manmade upper with microfiber-covered footbed.
  • Lightweight, flexible EVA midsole absorbs shock, reducing stress on feet, ankles, and knees.
  • Durable rubber outsole with a patterned tread provides traction on a variety of surfaces.
  • Our innovative podiatrist-designed Orthaheel Technology provides superior orthotic support, relief and stability which helps realign the feet back to their natural position.
  • Research supports Orthaheel Technology’s success in reducing over-pronation, which can help relieve associated common aches and pains, such as heel pain (plantar fasciitis), knee pain and lower back pain.
  • Recommended by renowned Dr. Andrew Weil.
  • Received APMA Seal of Acceptance
Now, I have to be clear here... I am pretty much a penny pincher, so I am not totally sure that I would be able to justify purchasing these shoes for $74.95 ( I did recently buy Marc a pair of sandals and spent a whopping $8 on them, so you see what I mean?)  I will say that having worn these basically every single day since they showed up, I am totally in love with them.
They are so comfortable that I have worn them everywhere we went - including pretty much all of Broxton's baseball games!  I point this out since I do NOT like being hot... and wearing sandals instead of sneakers allowed me to dress more for the weather.  I was surprised at how comfortable they were, while I had them on.. and when I took them off, I did not have aches in my heel and knees like I normally do when wearing sandals or being barefoot.
Also- wearing these sandals allowed me to show my "team spirit" for his baseball team!  I was able to paint my toe nails "purple and gold" for the LSU Tigers!
Finally, the style of these shoes was casual enough that I wore them out and about to run errands and to support Broxton's team... but I also threw them on and wore them to church as well.  I felt that the bow gave them that extra "oomph" to be dressy/casual all in one!

Vionic is running a #SoleStory Campaign where we get to "share why wearing stylish yet healthy and supportive shoes can enhance life."

I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IF YOU CLICK AND VOTE ON MY #SOLESTORY.
MAKE SURE YOU HIT THE "VOTE" BUTTON, NOT JUST THE LIKE ONE.

THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR VOTING FOR ME!!!!

Here is my reason:
For me, Vionic Shoes allows me the opportunity to be a key part in the daily events of my sons active life.  Instead of sitting around complaining about the aches and pains of my heels and knees, I can now continue cheering him on from the sidelines!

I have been very impressed and have had nothing but wonderful things to say about them. My mom actually had to try them on the last time I saw her...  I was lucky she has smaller feet, as she was trying to take them with her, although they were way too big for her!

Comments

  1. I'm not big on spending huge money on sandals either, w/the exception of for the little ones (because the expensive name brand we found never once made blisters). When he's older though, he's back to $8 sandals too. ;)

THESE shoes, though, with that arch!!! those are nice!! And I like the little bow too. :)

  2. I really don't like to spend a lot on shoes, but these sandals look really nice! I have a high arch and need a lot of support from my shoes lol
