Looking for SAFE Skincare for your littles? @BabyMantra is the answer! #BabyMantra #sponsored #MC

“I participated in Influencer Activation on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Baby Mantra. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for participating.”

Created by two sisters on a mission to provide safe and ecologically sound skincare, Baby Mantra is a certified natural, cruelty-free and gluten-free baby skincare line that offers environmentally conscious products from ingredients to packaging. All products are made in the U.S. and are inspired by all-natural home-based remedies.

I was pretty excited when I learned that I would be getting the Baby Mantra product line for review.  I know that my "baby" isn't technically a "baby" anymore since he is 5 now, but the way I see it, if it is safe enough for a baby... It surely must be safe enough for MY BABY!   Not to mention that he has the eczema starting to flare back up again, so I wanted to try and go ahead and deal with it sooner rather than later.  Whenever his eczema reappears, I go back to the non scented soap and all that "boring" yet safe means of cleaning...
Well, I decided to go ahead and give Baby Mantra a try and it hasn't caused any issues.  Let me be clear - I am not a doctor or anything ... but it has been safe for him and that makes me happy!

I started off with just the 3 in 1 Bubble Bath, Newborn Shampoo and Body Wash. The directions said to pour it with the running water, so I did ... and Broxton quickly noted how the smell was so nice!!  I loved that he was able to enjoy a bubble bath and yes, the scent was awesome!   (No judging here, but I sure enough used it for my bath the next day!)
As I said, Broxton's eczema was thinking about coming back and his skin started to get the really dry, rough feeling.... I quickly busted out the calming lotion and I was a bit surprised.  It was a bit more "milky" than I was expecting, but it quickly absorbed into his skin and his skin feels better already.  Normally lotion is not something that he voluntarily lets me apply, but since I have been using this, I have not had any complaints!

Dealing with the eczema, I was also pretty excited to see that they have a calming oil.  When he was a baby, I would have "lotion time" where I would try and massage the lotion on him to help get him to relax before bed... I sure do wish that I would have had this calming oil in my supply basket, as I know we would have loved it.  I have used it a couple times and it also seems to absorb pretty well.  I didn't notice a scent as much as with the lotion, but that was not really a big deal.  Just something to point out.
I am not one that is really into the different oils and ingredients... I know, shame me now... But at least I am honest in telling you this!  I did think it was neat to learn a bit more about the ingredients that are used in the Baby Mantra line.
Take for instance AVOCADO OIL.  I had NO CLUE that it was the perfect ingredient for dehydrated skin!  Hello!  Also, did you know that grape seed oil locks in moisture?  I could go on and on... But - if you want to learn more about the Pure Natural Ingredients used, just head over and check all of them out.  You might learn a thing or two as well!

We also have had the pleasure to enjoy their shampoo/body wash and detangling conditioner.  While I always feel like the less it foams, the more I need... * I KNOW that is not true, just a mindset of mine!  I love the way it makes his hair smell fresh and clean and there has yet to be any buildup!  I honestly see me using it as well, as I love the scent and "clean" feeling that is the result of using this!

If you want to "baby your baby" or if you want to give a great gift to someone with a little one, I say head on over and stock up!  You can purchase the Baby Mantra Line from BabiesRUs.com,  amazon, and select Walgreens & Duane Reade locations.
Make sure you follow Baby Mantra on Facebook and Twitter.

  6. I bet this would be good for my son. His elbows get rough, all of the time... he says it doesn't bother him, but awwww still! I wonder if he liked this one better than thicker lotion because it was milky? I want to try it.
