Ever since Broxton saw the previews for Russell Madness, he has been asking when we would see it.  I was excited when it showed up, as I knew it was going to be a great movie night!  Broxton was so excited that we could not wait for night and we popped popcorn and had a movie day to watch it.  The fact that the monkey is the monkey from Night of the Museum had Broxton thrilled, but I was secretly excited to see the monkey (from the Hangover) and to hear the voice of the dog, since he was voiced by the kid that plays Adam on The Goldbergs!
The movie was a good one, great family entertainment!  We meet a family that inherits the old family wrestling arena that has seen better days... only stipulation is that they have to make a profit in the first year...   Watch and see what all happens!  I will say, Broxton enjoyed it so much he has already requested that he and daddy have a movie night next time dad is off and can watch it with him!

Synopsis
RUSSELL MADNESS tells the story of Russell, an undersized but big-hearted terrier who dreams of having a family of his own. After running away from his pet store, Russell gets taken in by The Ferraros, a family desperate to revive their grandfather’s pro wrestling arena. That’s when they discover their new pet pooch has incredible wrestling skills. With help from his coach, Hunk, a savvy and hilarious monkey, Russell rockets to the top of the pro wrestling world and becomes a famous sports superstar. But when a dishonest promoter double-crosses the Ferraros, Russell will face his biggest challenge and discover that the strongest tag team is family.  RUSSELL MADNESS is rated ‘PG’ by the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA).

  1. It does sound cute. I bet I'd like it as much as the kiddos.
