I will admit, most times, we have the TV on in the house.  We aren't really watching it, it is more of a background noise for us.  (Same goes for car rides too, but I think we do listen more in their.)  I don't mind when the TV is on and it is an educational type show.  Some shows Broxton watches are pure entertainment (and I don't get it) but when it is something like Team UmiZoomi, I am fine with it.  He learns, its cute and I like it!  Nothing better than seeing him playing with his toys and then hearing him yell out the answer to the math problems they are asking on the TV! 
Are you familiar with Team Umizoomi?  When the Space Hero episode came out on TV, he had me DVR it, so he could watch it when he got home from school. Now, he can watch it in his room and all is great again!

    I'm with you about the learning shows. Those are the best, and we can actually feel good about it when they're watching!

    Isaak has a book of Umi Zoomi, but we've never watched it. It's funny Mica knows all about Mine Craft, and it's all from reading. He's only played it once at a friend's house.
