BoulderOrganic! Soups (formerly Boulder Soup Works)

This winter has had the weirdest weather.  It was warm and in the 70's over Christmas break, to the point where we had shorts on at many times when out and about.  Now, we are finally getting cooler temps and I for one love it.  Give me cold over hot any day and I am good!  (You can keep the ice and all that mess, just give me the colder temperatures!)  When the weather gets colder, I enjoy soups from time to time.  Maybe even a soup and sandwich combo?!
I was recently given the chance to review soups from Boulder Organic.

With seven amazing soup varieties to choose from, consumers who demand the highest quality ingredients can now relax when they don’t have time to shop, prep and prepare soup in their own kitchens. The Boulder Organic! line of soups are made artisan-style in small-batches, with certified organic, non-GMO ingredients, featuring fresh vegetables, herbs and spices mostly sourced from farms in the Western United States. And all varieties are gluten-free.
The current offerings include two soups with a chicken broth base and five vegetarian varieties:

Roasted Tomato Basil (chicken broth)
Green Chile Corn Chowder (chicken broth)
Red Lentil Dahl
Garden Minestrone
Golden Quinoa and Kale
Potato Leek
Butternut Squash Soup with Sage

I will tell you, when I went to get this soup, I could not find it. (I am not one that seeks out organic foods, but when I try them, they are so tasty!) These particular soups are kept in the cold section, so it took a minute. Silly me, I looked in the section that said SOUP.  Once I got home, I was eager to try them out.  Our local store only had the Roasted Tomato Basil and the Green Chile Corn Chowder.  They were both really delicious with the Tomato being my favorite. I really want to try the Cuban Black Bean Soup and the Golden Quinoa and Kale Soup.  Of the two I tired, they had a great flavor and I was surprised that Marc enjoyed them as well.
If you are one that enjoys soup, I would recommend you heading out to buy a couple of tubs of the soup for yourself.  Just click on the FIND SOUP locator link on their site to see what location is nearest you!  What soup would you like to try first?

  2. I'd like to try Butternut Squash Soup with Sage. I'm the only one in my family that would like to try that one though. I love squash!

  3. Both of the flavors you tried would be at the top of my list! Potato Leek would be up there, too.

I like that it's available at Target. Not as convenient as my supermarket, but not far away, either.

  4. I really need to make some more soup. It's cold here!
