Broxton used to love PBS when he was younger and I really hope that the shows we fell in love with in his toddler stage are shows that Savannah grows to love as well.  One show that I thought was awesome? Super Why!!!  LOOK IN A BOOK!!!!!  If you know me, you know I love reading, so the cartoon that promotes reading is of course one I will want to see.  Broxton had several of the toys when he was younger and I am glad to see they are still producing great shows for the younger kids to enjoy these days!!!   The latest?  Goldilocks and the Three Bears and other fairy-tale adventures!

This DVD includes two stories that feature Goldilocks and the Three Bears. In the first story, “Goldilocks and the Three Bears,” kids help Alpha Pig identify the letters to spell CHAIR, watch as Wonder Red sings about words that end in “airs,” and learn an important lesson about cleaning up. In the second story, “Goldilocks and the Three Bears: The Mystery,” the Super Readers follow alphabet paw prints and help Princess Presto spell DOOR in order to uncover the answer to how Whyatt can convince his brother Jack that he did not break his guitar string.

GOLDILOCKS AND THE THREE BEARS” will be available on DVD June 21, 2016. The DVD has a run time of approximately 120 minutes and an SRP of $9.99. The episodes included on this DVD are listed below.

Goldilocks and the Three Bears
Whyatt accidentally messes up Jack’s room and is in BIG trouble with his big brother! The Super Readers pay a storybook visit to Goldilocks and the Three Bears and find Goldilocks surrounded by three broken chairs, three bowls of porridge, and three times the mess! How will they solve this problem before the bears get home?

Goldilocks and the Three Bears: The Mystery
There’s a mystery in Storybrook Village – the case of the broken guitar string! Jack thinks Whyatt is the culprit, but he knows he’s innocent! The Super Readers fly into the tale of Goldilocks and the Three Bears and meet up with Goldilocks, who is just as determined to prove that she didn’t make the mess in the Three Bears’ house! What will it take for Goldilocks, and Whyatt, to convince everyone they’re telling the truth?

The Magic Porridge Pot
The Super Readers fly into the story of The Magic Porridge Pot to rescue a little girl whose magical pot just won’t stop making porridge! Will the Super Readers be able to help or will they end up with more porridge than even the Three Bears would know what to do with?

Bedtime for Bear
Baby Joy is afraid of the dark! To show her there’s nothing to fear, Super Why and his friends fly into Bedtime for Bear and meet Charlie – a bear who is scared of just about everything! The Super Readers shed a little light on the problem (literally) while Charlie discovers a bit more about the world outside his cozy cave.

SUPER WHY! helps kids learn the fundamentals of reading through interactive storybook adventures. The program features a team of superhero characters with reading powers who jump into books to find answers to everyday preschool challenges. SUPER WHY! airs weekdays on PBS KIDS (check local listings).

Peg + Cat is a show that we are a bit too late (or a bit too early) to know much about.  According to how you look at it.  We have watched a few episodes, thanks to being able to review them!   We love them and while Broxton has "matured" out of the shows like this, he will stop and watch when I put it on for background noise with Savannah from time to time.  Are you fans of Peg+Cat?  If so, check out the new DVD...if you are not familiar and you have preschool aged kids, you might want to check it out soon!

The run time of the new DVD “OUT OF THIS WORLD” is approximately 60 minutes, and its SRP is $6.99. The stories featured on the DVD include:

The Doohickey Problem
When their space ship is smashed, Peg and Cat must reassemble its variously shaped parts, and retrieve 16 stolen doohickeys.

The Long Line Problem
While waiting in a long line, Peg and Cat try to help Richard realize his dream of being first in line for the first time.

Richard the Third
At Richard’s family’s highly competitive annual picnic, Peg and Cat try to help Richard achieve his dream of not coming in third in every single event.

The T-Ball Problem
Peg’s t-ball team, the Mighty Nine, have no chance against a team of alien all-stars – unless Peg can use the aliens’ t-ball cards to predict where they’ll hit.

Each PEG + CAT adventure features a story in which Peg and Cat encounter an unexpected challenge that requires them to use math and problem-solving skills. While it teaches specific math lessons, the series also emphasizes resilience and perseverance.

When the nominations for the 43rd Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards were announced, PET + CAT was nominated for five awards, including: “Outstanding Pre-School Children’s Animated Program,” “Outstanding Writing in a Preschool Animated Program,” “Outstanding Directing in an Animated Program,” “Outstanding Music Direction and Composition,” and “Outstanding Original Song” for “Fairy Tale Wedding.” PEG + CAT won for “Outstanding Writing in a Preschool Animated Program” and “Outstanding Music Direction and Composition.”
