If you were here yesterday, you were able to learn all about the different effortless meals options through Wal-Mart and Coca Cola right now... If you need to refresh your memory, head on over to check it out... (BIG thanks to The Coca-Cola Company for providing compensation for this blog post.) I wanted to take the time today to tell you about our experience with them!
Of course, the colder the better on our beverage of choice! Coke! Being in the south, you know we also have Mason Jars to drink out of! Really? Is there anything besides Coke and Sweet Tea around here? (Yes, we do drink water!)
Broxton actually chose the Chicken, Bacon, Ranch sandwich that he wanted to eat. It was LOADED full and I cut it into 4ths for us to try it out... We still had leftovers!
Broxton decided that he wanted to try the Roast Beed that daddy had chosen and he really seemed to enjoy it as well. I loved the Roast Beef and it is still up in the air as to what our favorite would be. I loved that although it was already made and in the wrapper, the bread and sandwich tasted fresh, as if it was just made specifically for us!
For a different dinner option one evening, we went with the side items (that night we actually got potato salad, macaroni salad and coleslaw) and paired it up with an original rotisserie chicken. Broxton enjoys this chicken just as much as we do and it makes me happy knowing we are eating a "sit down" meal together, but that I did not have to go and cook all night, missing out on family time!
By shopping at Wal-Mart for effortless meals, we were able to spend more time outside and not worry about being in the kitchen. We even got to save money and bought Broxton a kiddie pool for him to enjoy outside on these hot summer days!
To add more to our summer, we even bought him a few outdoor toys and he just had to have a windchime for us to enjoy while being outside!
To me, making these memories is so important right now...
I am so glad that Wal-Mart has these options to provide meals that taste great for our family!
As a huge My Coke Rewards fan... I love that by purchasing these items, we can gain even more points!

We stopped at our Wal-Mart last night and the expansion for the grocery section isn't yet open. :( They're saying it'll be ready sometime between August and October.
ReplyDeleteLast night, though, my husband was saying that he was in the mood for a cold sandwich rather than a hot meal. And don't you LOVE those summer dinners that don't require you to heat up the kitchen?! I wish we had these Wal-Mart items as an option.
I do the MCR points too! You don't even wanna know how many caps I have backlogged and need to enter. It's BAD. My tummy literally grumbled when I saw Broxton's sandwich, by the way. lol
ReplyDeleteThanks to the MCR points,we were able to take the whole family to the world of coke here for "free" and who doesn't love a coke shirt? :)
DeleteThat sandwich was great - FYI
I have to go at some point this weekend and cold cuts from the deli are on the list.I buy the "Double Deal" when they have it which is 1lb of deli meat of choice + choice of cheese.I pack my fiance's lunches for work to save time and money. He loves the Smoked Turkey and Baby Swiss on the fresh baked rolls. And of course I have to get a couple of 12 pks of Sprite :)
ReplyDeleteHow did I NOT know about the Double Deal???? What?!?!?!?! I MUST check it out ;) Thanks for the tip!!!!
DeleteNo problem! They only run it sometimes but it usually lasts a month or two at a time so be sure and ask at your deli because it saves you a few bucks :) I hope you can catch it~have a nice weekend!
DeleteThe sandwiches look yummy!
ReplyDeleteThey are so good... but they are HUGE - so you don't need many to feed the whole family :)
DeleteI don't know why I haven't ever purchased from their Deli **hits self on forehead**. I am from the South too, (NC) and it's already so darn hot here I rarely feel like cooking. So a coke and some sandwiches with sides sounds like the ticket!
ReplyDeleteI like that the sandwiches are great cold... but can also take a different approach and warm them for a whole different take :)
DeleteThe sides are great too
I like to use things like this too if I'm hard pressed for a hot, good meal! I saw the comment on the double deal in the comments above, and that is cool to know too. :)
ReplyDeleteI am excited about the double deal!
DeleteWe love all the options at WalMart
