The other day, we went to see the Nuclear Cowboyz Show at Phillips Arena. I had never heard of Nuclear Cowboyz, but seeing that it was MotoCross, I knew it was going to be fun!!! Broxton and I invited a friend of ours (another mother/son) and we went to see what Nuclear Cowboyz was all about!!!  Let me start by telling you this... HIGH ENERGY!!!!!! The Arena as Nuclear Cowboys prepares to start.   As we walked in, there was all sorts of energy in the arena, I figured it was just the hustle/bustle from the show about to start, but it continued on.. All of a sudden, we heard the announcement that the show was about to start. We missed the introduction of it all, but I heard something about supporting the military, so that made me smile!!!!   Once we grabbed our seats, we were told the background of how the Soldiers of Havoc are against Metal Mulisha in the future .... This is set in Los Angeles... The next part lost me a bit, as it had all this dancing, running a...

CVS is like a home away from home for my mother. She loves the convenience of the way you can just park and run and grab pretty much everything you need. We watched a great movie the other night... Marc enjoys surfing, so I thought it was a good one to ask him to watch with me... I will admit, I was a bit confused in the start... Chasing Mavericks starts with a young boy and girl at the beach (8 years old) and then they ride home with a complete stranger... It was 1987 and both Marc and I could not figure out how the ride seemed SO LONG coming back home, yet they got there with no car?  Confusing... Then, it turned into 7 years later and he sees the neighbor that lives across the street... It was just odd that they literally lived across the street from each other and from the looks of the scene, they had not seen each other is 7 years...  After that.. there is plenty of surfing and a great story line... I really enjoyed watching the movie, but Marc wasn't as impressed with it as I was... Although the shots of the water were impressive to both of us!!! I highly recommend this movie for those looking for a great movie to wa...

Scooby Doo and the gang have been around as long as I can remember, although truthfully, I have no clue how they used to do so much... you know, before the days of the internet!!!!  In the Mask of the Blue Falcon, Velma learns of a mystery on their laptop...   The gang is heading to a Comic Convention and Shaggy tells Velma she is not allowed to mess with the laptop until after the convention, as they don't want to have the mystery interfere with their fun at the convention...  I thought this was a great Scooby Doo Movie, as it had a cartoon I LOVED as a kid... with the characters trying to defend the honor of a cartoon hero they loved!!!! Synopsis: Get set for superhero hi-jinks and adventure in  Scooby-Doo! Mask of the  Blue   Falcon  as Scooby-Doo! and the gang go head-to-head with a super villain they thought only existed on TV! Broxton is always hit or miss when it comes to Tom and Jerry.  Depending upon the day and time, he might be a fan, but at other times, he could care less.  That was the case with the latest DVD that we received.  I thought Broxton would be pretty excited since he does like Tom and Jerry... This was a special DVD as it shows more of the other characters than some of the other DVD's.  Broxton seemed to be upset with the shows (especially Spike and Tyke ones...) That was odd to me, as Spike and Tyke were the two characters I remembered and loved the most... It is funny to me, just hearing the theme music transported me back to my youth...  It was like I was a kid again!!!! Anyways, instead of a trip down memory lane, let me get back to the DVD... Broxton seemed to think it was too much and wasn't a fan... and then I have read on another site that maybe it isn't for younger kids... I don't know.  Broxton isn't normally like that, so I am not sure if it is ...
