Thankful Thursday - military


I know I have not posted a Thankful Thursday in some time...
and I really have no reason as to why I haven't done so...
Because I am SO VERY THANKFUL!

So, for today, I would like to go ahead and shout it to all of the blogosphere...

I AM SO THANKFUL THAT MARC IS NO LONGER IN AFGHANISTAN!!!!!!!


He is not home yet...
He is headed home, but he is out of Afghanistan, so for that, I am thankful.

I am thankful for God, for HE gave me the strength to deal with all that has been thrown my way this past year.
I am thankful for our FRG leader, she has been great throughout this whole deployment.
I am thankful for my son, because during this deployment, I have had him here... a little piece of Marc with me while he was gone.
I am thankful that Army Wives will be starting back up soon...
(April 11 if you did not know)
I am thankful for all of you...
This blog has allowed me to make wonderful friends and I am so very thankful!

I am also thankful for my giveaways I have going on...

    I'm glad your Marc is on his way home to you too and yes I will love to watch Army wife when it returns. It end on a vry sad note. Let's hope the boy survives.

    YAY, so happy to read your husband is making his way back to you safely! I am military wife too and have been through so many deployments so I know how you feel. I hope you and your hubby have one heck of homecoming celebration :)

Fire Fly Toothbrushes - #giveaway

Is it a hassle to get your younger kids to brush their teeth? Broxton loves it and asks throughout the day if he can go and brush his... Now that he has a new toothbrush!!! We were sent a couple toothbrushes from Fire Fly Toothbrushes and I just love the concept! With Fire Fly, they light up! You just press the button and they light up for a solid minute. What we do here is a little system. First, Broxton brushes his teeth for the first minute. (just a teeny bit of toothpaste) Then, I brush the next minute (once again, minimal toothpaste.) Finally, he gets to brush them a final minute (no toothpaste.) The system is working and his teeth are clean! During the day, when he wants to brush them.. He can, but with no toothpaste. The Holidays are getting closer and closer! Some may want the days leading up to them to "Hurry Up!" So, with that in mind... I want to kick things off with a pretty cool giveaway!!!!!!! Hurry Up!
