Aloha Friday - 49

Get ready for the weekend!
Wind down!
Relax!
Aloha my friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Aloha Question this week:

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too.

Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends

What is the longest road trip you have been on?

My answer:

I once did a trip from Georgia to Ohio...

But, once I went from Dallas to San Antonio...
(and it felt like it took 87 days... )

:) I would love love LOVE to do a road trip with the boys where we travel the USA for the summer...
Maybe one day!

  2. I guess the longest trip we ever drove has to be this vacation we just took. We drove from Illinois to Williamsburg, Virginia. It was gorgeous and totally fun and comfy in our new car.

The longest road trip would have to be when we drove to Disneyland with the boys, we took a detour through Arizona and picked up my brother then headed on to DL it took FOREVER! But I LOVE road trips and all of them have been super fun!

  13. Hmm the longest road trip I took was probably when I was 13 and my family drove all the way from Ontario Canada to the most westernmost point of Canada in British Columbia. It took 3 days driving to get home, but that was an awesome vacation!

  17. I've done that Dallas to San Antonio trip several times...and in the hot summer months, yes, it does feel that long!

The longest trip I ever took was from California to Dallas when I came out for college. It was during August (the hottest time of year in Texas) and with parents that weren't exactly happy that I choose to go to college half way across the country. It was EXCEEDINGLY long! I did it one more time with my mom, and a couple more time by Grayhand bus (which is an experience to be sure!)...and a few times by plane (much nicer). When going from California to Dallas, TX when you get to the Texas border you're only half way there. It's a feeling that's kinda exciting and depressing at the same time.

  18. Our longest road trip was when we moved from Connecticut to Florida, we took two days to drive. It seemed like a week because I had to stop every hour and a half because of my back. I was lucky enough to have my DIL in my car with me and she drove 1/2 the time for me while Bill drove his car all the way (with his air conditioning broken - poor guy).
