April and Oliver - Book Review
April and Oliver by Tess Callahan was one that was hard for me to put down...
The book opens up with the passing of April's younger brother, Buddy.
Once that sets the stage, you wonder what can possibly happen next!
(Well, at least I did!)
I think this book kept me going because of the relationship between April and her Nana. My Nana meant the world to me, so that was an added bonus in this book.
Seriously though, April and Oliver have been in each others lives since they were children...
Life took them in different directions, but quickly pulled them back into each others lives with the passing of Buddy.
Oliver has taken a clearly different path, going to law school, getting engaged...
His life is on track.
But April, oh April..
She is still tending bar, still running with the wrong crowd and there is no settling down in her future!
Oliver tries to be the knight in shining armor, trying to rescue April from everything...

This book pulls you in and keeps the pages turning...
Can April be saved? Is Oliver the one to save her?!
I really enjoyed this book, but I will tell you that it is not for everyone.
The basis for me saying it is not for everyone is the fact of strong language and the sexual content.

Sounds like a book I would enjoy. I was nana's girl as well.

Hey I need to read this one! It takes a whole heck of a lot to offend me, so no problems with the warnings. Sounds great!
