Aloha Friday - Swimming?
Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday with Kailani. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too.
Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
My question:
Do you know how to swim? Do your kids?
My answer:
I do and we played with Broxton in the pool last year. I am trying to figure out the best way to teach him... From us , or lessons? Just not sure yet, but I want him to love the pool as much as we do and I think he already does!!!
Hi Noelle, we went with the swim lessons route of teaching our son and I'm a swimmer as well! Have a Blessed Easter!
ReplyDeleteYes! All of us except Rodney can swim.
ReplyDeleteYes and yes! Had a tooth pulled, so I'm off to bed. Happy Easter to you, and yours! HUGS!
ReplyDeleteI love to swim and my twins are 5 now so they are just now getting the hang of it :) Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteLily
Yes I do, and yes they do. I LOVE to swim!
ReplyDeleteI had to learn to swim to pass a test required to graduate from college. JDaniel is learning to swim.
ReplyDeleteI do my kids do not I wanted my oldest in lessons this spring but got closed put this summer hopefully she will learn.
ReplyDeleteI can't swim. My kids, 1 and 4, can't either, but would really love for them to learn to swim. somehow.
ReplyDeleteYes, we have a pool and we all swim. I have taught my G-Nephew also.
ReplyDeleteI don't, really - I love being in and on the water, and can tread water and backfloat like nobody's business, but I never learned how to actually swim. Princess Nagger has been taking swim lessons at school - though she hates it for some reason. Hopefully she'll warm up to it! :)

No. I don't know how to swim. I don't have any kids yet, but have heard from friends and family that lessons are better than teaching them yourself.
ReplyDeleteYep- we all know how to swim.Just wish it were warm enough to do so :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great Friday!

Yes and my kids know how to swim. Thank goodness for our local YMCA. They have great swim instructors.
ReplyDeleteI love to swim :D And I don't have any kids but I helped teach Critter how to swim
ReplyDeleteNo I have not yet learned how to swim. I want to learn so much!
ReplyDeleteMy kids have not yet either, but it seems they might learn before me :)
Aloha!
Yes & I love to swim. When I was around 2 years old my mother started me in swimming lessons and she swears I am a fish, lol!
ReplyDeleteI can swim if I have to do not really like water
ReplyDeleteNoelle, his lessons were through the park district and they did a good job. Lots of kids to a class with numerous classes going on but I was pleased. Good luck with your decision!
ReplyDeleteYes. My son kind of does but not anything crazy like backstrokes, etc. He learned in Mexico last fall. My 3 y/o is kind of learning my 20 mo. old no clue.
ReplyDeleteI took swim lessons from the time I was in nursery school until I was almost a certified life guard. We are still looking for a good place for our kids to take lessons now. The problem is most locations require you to be a member.
ReplyDeleteWe both know how to swim. I think we are going to try to teach Ryan this summer. Sean was a swimmer in high school so I think he will be a good instructor. :)
ReplyDeleteI know how to, but am not a very strong swimmer and don't like putting myu face underwater!
