Habibi - Review
Looking for a great Mothers Day Gift?
HABIBI BODY is THE ANSWER!!!
PAMPER HER WITH LOVE!!!!
I have no way to describe this smell.
That is not normally how I start a post, but this is not an ordinary post.
I have been reviewing a couple products from the Habibi Body Care Line.
This smell is literally amazing!
From the Habibi Body Site:
Habibi is the creation of indulgent body care...
fusing pure organic ingredients with natural fragrance to create a collection of bath and body products.
I first tried the perfume oil.
I packed to go home for my Uncles funeral and it was easy to just throw in the suitcase.
I put it on in the morning before we left... Normally perfume fades on me... Especially if I am hot/sweating! Not only did the perume oil smell great, it actually lasted. ALL day long. (and fyi, I am a very emotional person anyways and I get all hot when I cry)
The baby bottom balm...
Well, I have not used it as a diaper balm or anything like that... I actually have been using it on Broxton as his lotion.
It comes in a little tub.
The balm is very thick. I mean, very thick... BUT - it only takes a little to last a LONG way.
I have been getting just a little bit and it is going all over Broxton.
Now, it is a bit oily at first, but it absorbs into his skin pretty fast.
My favorite of all?
The body balm for me.
It is like heaven in a jar.
The feel... like pouring love and serenity all over me.
Just like the baby balm, it is thick,
I have enjoyed putting it on my hands and arms. I love the way it smells and I wish I could put it all over my face.
It says not to, so I am not going to try...
BUT- it does mention it is safe for your hair! I am thinking that I might try to see if it adds all the moisture that is lost at times.
Now that I think about it... It is the smell of SUGAR CANE.
Yes, I read it on the jar, but I did not think about it... It totally reminds me of when I was younger and we went and watched them stirring the sugar cane. WOW!!! Talk about a flash back to my youth!
I notice myself smelling my hands over and over again.I also noticed that the smell also lasts! It is not overbearing, but it also doesn't fade quickly!
They have over 20 scents to choose from and I am so glad I was able to try the Sugar Cane.
I hate it, but I normally stick to scents I am familiar with, so I doubt I would have chosen this.
BUT I AM GLAD I tried it.
This is just the scent for me!
Win-Win!

I will tell you, I am very much a packaging person.
The way a product is packaged is the first look you get at a company.
If it is appealing and draws you in, you will be more apt to try it, in my opinion.
The labeling and marketing for Habibi releases a sense of peace and that was the first thing I saw when looking at their products.
The peace does not end there, it is carried through the packaging and labeling all the way to the actual product inside!
I also was pulled to Habibi since it is based on recipes that was passed down for generations, with the addition of further learning to share the best product available.

I will say, I do think it is a bit pricey.
You can buy a 4 oz tub for $24.99 or an 8 oz tub for $49.99.
BUT, as long as it is seeming to last, it seems as though in the long run, it will last way longer than other less expensive lotions.
Now, I don't know about you..
But I would rather buy one product that lasts for quite some time versus having to constantly purchase again.
In the end, I think the price evens out over time.
I hope that you will take a minute to head over and see what all Habibi Body has to offer.
It really is a wonderful product!!!!
I haven't heard of this range - thanks for sharing.

Great post! I've been an Habibi fan for a while and love the great scents (particularly Tahitian Vanilla) and all the types (body balm, scrub, oil, I could go on LOL) available.
