I will just go ahead and admit it...
Broxton was given several VeggieTales gifts for his birthday last year...
but that is the extent of it.
We don't go to the movie rental places or anything, so we never rent them and I do not recall seeing them on television..
We were so lucky to have been given the chance to review two of their DVD's for my holiday gift guide.
I really liked this one, as Broxton has a problem with listening to mommy and daddy all the time. He is very independent and thinks he can do it all... He is learning that he needs to listen and we tried to discuss that a bit more while watching this movie.
Quick Overview
When Larry's new Space Squadron game finally arrives, he's so anxious to play that he forgets to read the directions. When his friends do their best to tell him, Larry refuses to listen! What happens? His games goes 'KERPOW!' That's when Larry learns a valuable lesson in listening as his friends come to the rescue. Kids will discover, right along with Larry, that God gave friends and family to help us though each day-- so when we listen we don't miss what others have to say!
Also includes two classic shows: "Pistachio - The Little Boy Who Woodn't" and "Josh and the Big Wall" Broxton is very much into being a helper. He is always wanting to help with the dishes, "clean up time," unloading the groceries from the car and even getting the milk jug to get his milk.
I love that he likes being a helper instead of wanting others to do it for him. Just like the VeggieTales in the movie!!!
Quick Overview
When Joe's mom breaks her big left toe, Bob the Tomato decides to help. Larry and Joe offer their 'superhero' help, too, but that's not exactly what Bob has in mind. Kids will discover right along with Larry and Joe that everyone can be a superhero if you lend a helping hand!
Includes two classic shows: "Tomato Sawyer and Huckleberry Larry's Big River Rescue" and "Lyle the Kindly Viking"
One winner will win a copy of both of these DVDs!!!!
