If you follow me on Instagram, you know that Broxton and I saw the movie Paddington back in December.  Well, since it is being released on January 16th, I can finally share with you just how great and cute and funny and sweet and sad it really was!
I have always heard of Paddington, but have never seen Paddington on TV or even read a Paddington book... Until now.  We saw the movie and fell in love.  We were given a Paddington bear when we left and Broxton actually donated one to his school library (where he has also requested Paddington books to bring home for us to read!)

In Paddington, we get to see how it all starts, with Paddington and his family out in the jungle.  We then follow Paddington on his journey, see how he ends up with the Brown family and even learn how he gets the name Paddington!   For me, I just loved seeing the movie and learning about Paddington, but I also enjoyed seeing Hugh Bonneville outside of his Downton Abbey character. Broxton loved watching Paddington getting into trouble (not on purpose) and I loved seeing how the relationship between the bear and the humans would grow.
If you are not familiar with Paddington, you should make plans to go see this cute movie this weekend.  If you are familiar with Paddington, I am sure you are already counting down the days until the release!

Synopsis:
From the beloved novels by Michael Bond and producer David Heyman (HARRY POTTER), PADDINGTON tells the story of the comic misadventures of a young Peruvian bear (voiced by Ben Whishaw) who travels to the city in search of a home. Finding himself lost and alone, he begins to realize that city life is not all he had imagined - until he meets the kindly Brown family who read the label around his neck that says "Please look after this bear. Thank you." and offer him a temporary haven. It looks as though his luck has changed until this rarest of bears catches the eye of a museum taxidermist.
